Noemys Valence Nord - hotel restaurant

Check-in was nice and easy. We had ground floor rooms with glass doors to the courtyard. It was nice to go out of the room and get some air. The private parking was good for security reasons. There is a gate locked during the night. No sounds. The hotel is placed in a quiet area, far from the highway sounds, but not too far. It still has good access. The bathroom was mostly OK in size and facilities, however, without ventilation or window, we opened the door towards the room and the nearby balcony door to get some ventilation. Plenty of soap in the bathroom. Morning coffee was good. Haven't tried the breakfast The TV worked, but it was small and old and with quirky menus, only French programming, in a hotel visited mostly by non French people in transit towards the seaside south.

The rooms are of an outdated design, but not in a good way. The smell is a bit stale. Smells of old bit rancid hotel. Old carpets probably and old wall paint We had two rooms, and the AC in one of the rooms did not cool although it seemed to function somehow. The second room had working AC. The towels are bit small and on the economy side. The rooms are quite small. The price is probably 30 to 40 % too high considering the quality The hotel might have been OK 30 years ago, but it needs renovation badly.

- climatisation défaillante. Alors qu' il faisait très chaud à l'extérieur, la clim intérieure envoyait de l'air chaud. Malgré notre réclamation, rien n'y a fait. nous avons réussi à éteindre cette clim par nous même. En arrivant, chambre non aérée, une véritable étuve - Restaurant réservé à un groupe de personnes. - interdiction d'utiliser les petites tables extérieures pour se désaltérer au bar ! - pour le petit déjeuner, les tables étaient restés comme telles la veille au soir, obligés de séparer les tables par nous mèmes. - nous avions réservées , par tél., les 2 chambres que nous avions eues 3 semaines auparavant. tout semblait ok au tel. sauf que rien n'a été pris en compte.
