Location was lovely the hotel was beautiful staff very friendly

Our fridge had a rotting pear in it and rotten juice pouring out the fridge My dad's bedroom door was jarred open all day - his personal belongings lying in the room - could have been stolen.

Breakfast was good with a lot of variety

Pretty much everything. Should be marketed only to business people for conferences. Certainly not the place for a leisurely break away for a single person, couple and least of all a family. Two nights I went down for dinner, and both nights I had to go out for dinner because my order never arrived.

Rooms are clean and spacious,

Breakfast was average at best. Wi-fi keeps logging you off all the time. Air-con didn't really work in the rooms.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Melkbosstrand.

The only downside at this beatiful boutique hotel for us was that non of the rechargeable LED lights in our room worked during loadshedding so we were stuck in the dark, luckily the lights in the corridor worked.
