Airport Budapest Sarokhaz Panzio

I loved how close this was to the airport & the rental car drop-off (we rented from KlassWagen, which was across the street), since we stayed here on the last night before a very early morning flight out of Budapest airport. The room was very small, but adequate for our needs, and clean. There wasn't an in-room mini-fridge, but they allowed me to put some of my items in their shared refridgerator. We ate our dinner at the restaurant downstairs, and the food was delicious.

The entire hotel (hallway, downstairs dining area) was VERY hot & humid. When we arrived, we were given a remote control for the A/C in the room we were renting, and it took a long time for the temperature in the room to become tolerable. It would be better if the room was pre-cooled down before guests arrived, because unpacking was very uncomforable in that heat. We then waited until it was late and had cooled down quite a bit before we felt comfortable to leave our room to go eat dinner downstairs (because the kitchen/dining area was super hot earlier in the day). It doesn't seem like they use A/C or fans very much. I think people who work there must be used to it, but some travelers, like my family, are definitely not used to the lack of A/C in the common areas. Let's just say: Budapest at the end of May & in June is VERY hot.
