Romantik

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Romantik, my husband, daughter and nephew (both 18) and I and would return if we ever get a chance to stay in Eger again. We arrived very late after 11:30, and were greeted very happily. Parking is available in a closed building just 2 doors down. The rooms and furnishings were older and felt old-school European which we really enjoyed (this was not a Holiday Inn Express by any means!) The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. I opened our window and enjoyed pleasant breezes all night from our 2nd story room. The bathroom was small but in perfect working order and very clean. Breakfast was in a lovely, light-filled room and an adjacent lush garden. The food was nicely presented, fresh, and very good. The place settings were very inviting. The location is close to the city center so it was very convenient to walk to everything we wanted to see. Would love to return to Eger and will likely stay at Hotel Romantik again. All the staff spoke English and were very helpful. Very much enjoyed our stay.

A family run hotel, quite in the city centre. It is small, but with nice confy rooms, a beautiful back-yard garden, excelent breakfast, very friendly and warm staff. They have 2 blocks away their free parking free of charge. Less than 10 minutes walk to the city centre. For sure I will come back !

We have fallen love with the hotel, especially the nice small interior garden. The rooms were mid-sized but very comfortable and quite. The city center was in short walking distance. The booking and the check in/out were flexible and quick.

The hotel has a very nice small interior garden to stay and enjoy breakfast/coffee. The rooms seem to be mid-sized, the queen size bad was really big and comfy. It is about 5 minute walking distance from the old town square.

It was good overall, we were charged a "tourist tax" upon checkout and did not understand this. The location is great, and so were all the staff. Breakfast deserves FIVE STARS. Thank you for this hotel and location.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel as close to the walking area of the town and very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the bathroom plumbing did not have a proper water trap so vent gases backed up into the bathroom making a bit of a sewage stench. That being said, I would still come back to this hotel again in the future.

On the edge of town, but only a quick walk in. Looks like a small house with lots of greenery outside, not like a hotel. Rooms where good, clean, comfortable, air-con worked. Breakfast was great- large tasty selection and juice was even offered. Only slight cons are lots of stairs- fine for most, but be aware if you need more convenience. Recommended.

The building is old therefore there was some smell in the room. Our room was a little bit noisy because our window faced to a busy street and we had to leave the windows open nighttime since there was not air condition. although the bed was comfortable and clean. The rug in the bathroom was dirty also the carpet in the room. But the stuff was nice and the breakfast was good. It worth the price for the room.

We got the last room at Romantik on a busy week-end in Eger, so we couldn't choose. Biggest challenge was room had no air conditioning during an incredible heat wave (it hit 100 degrees). A portable fan kept us from melting. But staff was very courteous, informative, and helpful. And location is convenient to major sites in Eger. A basic breakfast included.

Definitely one of the niicest little Boutique Hotels we stayed in while in Cent Europe. The team there couldnt have been more helpful. Real Cute Building too! The complimentary Glass of Wine in the garden helped take the edge off things too...
