Following our below concerns, Cedrik, the French owner, was misinformed by the staff members and initially came in hot. But when we spoke to him, face-to-face, at the end of our stay, it was the first time we were taken seriously and actually listened to. He was extremely apologetic, acknowledged the serious breaching of safeguarding, privacy and comfort, and we were able to end with him personally on good terms the day that we checked out. We would have appreciated a gesture of good will on the final bill, but they were very stingey and upfront with payments.

My friend and I (two girls) stayed at this resort for five nights. We want to report several concerning incidents during our stay. The staff member, Abdul, who showed us around the riad and our room, was overly friendly and made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. One day, we returned to our room to find it unlocked, with a suspicious bank scam card left in the shower. This caused us serious concern, as we had valuables and passports in the room. We attached our own padlock for security. When we raised this with reception, our concerns were dismissed and we were belittled. Staff laughed, cut us off while we tried to express ourselves, accused us of placing the card ourselves, and provided inconsistent explanations, claiming a cleaner left the room open to get towels, which didn’t make any sense since we our towels were already replaced. Following this, Abdul became hostile - a complete shift in character and other staff were unhelpful and aggressive, including demanding unjust, misquoted payments for a camel ride. The camel ride itself was disappointing: the pick-up was over 90 minutes late, communication was poor, and the ride was shortened to 35–40 minutes. We also observed mistreatment of the camels. Overall, we did not feel safe or supported during our stay. We hope the resort addresses these serious issues as it is very clear no investigation took place and staff members just didn't take us seriously and we were made to feel there was no issue at all. I would not recommend, specifically for women on their own.

Il Riad è molto bello, i ragazzi dello staff super gentili e disponibili, sempre sorridenti e pronti a farti sentire a tuo agio. Spesso ci hanno accompagnato ai taxi in orari scomodi per non farci fare la strada da sole. Abbiamo usufruito della spa e dell’hammam con massaggio rilassante, una vera coccola dopo il caos della Medina.

La camera un po’ piccola, con pochissimo spazio di movimento ai lati.

Belle découverte de cet hôtel chaleureux après notre trek au désert. Piscine chauffée en plein hiver: un grand plus!

Beautiful Riad, lovely furniture. Very authentic. Beautiful room. Nice breakfast on rooftop.

Uncomfortable bed with dip in middle. Room booked was a double/triple but when I asked for a specific double/triple room I was told that the room was actually a suite and asked to pay for an upgrade.
