L'Avenida Adults Only

Lovely building. Comfortable room and good size bathroom. The gentleman on reception and the English lady at breakfast were professional and always on hand to help. Pool area nice and quiet and relaxing. Breakfast choice and coffee good.

Breakfast on the Sunday wasn’t as good as the other two mornings. My husband ordered an omelette and I ordered eggs Benedict. Disappointing both orders didn’t come at the same time with the eggs Benedict arriving at least 10 mins later than the omelette. Waitress didn’t seem bothered about the delay and when it did eventually arrive it was inedible as far too salty!!

L’Avenida was great. Matthew at the front desk is so attentive, he made sure we were comfortable throughout our whole stay. The hotel definitely had more of a close-nit family vibe rather than a hotel vibe. I did not get the ladies name that always helped around breakfast but she was also amazing. Pool was great and plenty of sun chairs. The city center was a 2 minute walk and there was delicious food near by.

Parking was terrible during peak hours. Literally had to fight for it but that’s not the hotels fault.

Really impressive boutique hotel with only 12 rooms and thankfully for August, adult only! The room we had was spacious with a separate sitting area and a large bathroom (shower only). Bed incredibly comfortable and the shutters on the window pretty much blacked-out all light (perfect for me!). Breakfast was included and was good (not spectacular) with some a la carte options plus some buffet usuals (cereals, juices, cheese, meats, pastries etc) and the wonderful pool was almost always empty with plenty of sunbeds to choose from. Location is fantastic for Soller old-town; a short 2 minute walk to the square and also the tram that takes you (25 minutes) to Port de Soller Matthew works his socks off running around to make sure everything is perfect for all the guests and his attention to customer service is right up there for me with the best we have come across. There are a number of things to note which I add not to be difficult but to (hopefully) help other travellers and also to nudge management. 1. There was a school (I was told only summer) next door and there was playground noise from 9am one day and 8:35am the next. As the lightest of sleepers this did wake me on both mornings. 2. Car parking is an issue. We got VERY lucky to find a space in the car park opposite but the alternatives were 5 mins+ away which would have been a pain, As we did have a space we didn't move the hire car for the duration of the trip which negates the reason of hiring!

Loved the character of the building & the original features. Staff were absolutely brilliant. Matthew & his team can’t do enough for you.

There was some minor cleaning/maintenance required. We didn’t raise it as it didn’t affect our stay.

Our stay at L’Avenida Hotel in Sòller was truly unforgettable. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making us feel special. We would like to give special thanks to the gentleman at the reception and the lady who assisted us with breakfast for their exceptional kindness and attentiveness. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the towels and bed linens had a fresh, delightful scent. The interior design of both the rooms and the building was carefully thought out—elegant details, stylish furniture, and a warm atmosphere came together to create a space that was both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. In short, L’Avenida Hotel stands out as one of the most enjoyable places to stay in Sòller, both for its service quality and its charming ambiance.
