Everything was exceptional – from the breathtaking views of the Picos de Europa to the soothing sound of the nearby river and the constant chorus of singing birds. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. What surprised us most was that the place looks even more beautiful in reality than in the photos. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful; there is such a sense of tranquility that people almost seem to whisper, as if afraid to disturb the silence. One of the highlights of our stay was the traditional breakfast served in the garden. Enjoying fresh local products, homemade specialties, and good coffee surrounded by flowers, greenery, and mountain views was a wonderful way to start each day. Posada San Pelayo feels like a little piece of paradise. Nestled in lush greenery, surrounded by mountains, forests, and fresh air, it offers the perfect escape from everyday life. Waking up to the views, the birdsong, and the vibrant green landscape was simply magical. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we have ever stayed. We would gladly return.

A little piece of paradise

Prachtige plek, in een enorm mooie omgeving. Super vriendelijke eigenaren die er alles aan doen het je naar je zin te maken en je te helpen. Wij hadden een kamer met een bank en een balkon met veel privacy (er zijn er ook met een aantal aan elkaar) en prachtig uitzicht. Wij genoten van alle vogels en schapen in de wei tegenover ons.

Prachtige ligging

O espaço, a localização, a simpatia dos donos e o pequeno almoço com vista montanha.

De ligging is zeer mooi. Iets afgelegen en daarom rustig gelegen. De enorme tuin is prachtig aangelegde en onderhouden. De zelf gekweekte en oude bonsia's maken het plaatje af. Veel divere soorten fruitbomen in de tuin dus ook vers fruit bij het ontbijt.

Wij spreken helaas geen Spaans en de host weinig Engels dus was het moeilijk een praatje te maken.

Stunning location, could not get any better. Beautiful views from all around the property. The pool has gorgeous views of the mountains, and it is saltwater! Plenty of parking spots. Unfortunately, our schedule was so busy, and we didn't spend more time at the property. Lots of spaces to sit outside in the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet. We would definitely return. Also loved watching the sheep from our balcony at the nearby field.

Did not love the towels; they felt a bit harsh.
