We did a late check in and found ants in the room, in the bathroom and the bedroom which really put us off.

The location was perfect and the room was very spacious and comfy bed.

Stayed at Bellevue on the Lakes over the Easter long weekend. Unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The property is very dated and in need of renovation. The parking is clearly designed for small cars and there aren’t enough spaces, so we often had to park on the street instead. The WiFi was extremely poor and basically unusable. Even mobile reception was an issue — 5G was not available inside the room and signal was very weak. The bathroom had several problems. The shower door did not seal properly, so water leaked onto the floor outside the shower. The hairdryer provided looked like it was from the 1990s and barely worked. Noise was another issue. You can hear noise from outside the hotel and also anyone walking past or using the front door area, which made it hard to sleep. The most concerning issue was hygiene. When packing at check-out, we discovered a stain on the bedding which appeared to be a dried blood stain. This was extremely upsetting as my 6-year-old child had been sleeping in the bed. We raised it with the hotel, but the response was dismissive and insulting. They tried to indicate that it was us who stained the bedding. Overall, not a comfortable stay and not recommended.
