De toegangsdeur in de gang naar de kamers is moeilijk te openen voor ouderen met rollator. Een leuning langs de stenen trap naar de ingang zou geen overbodige luxe zijn

The Bed was horrible...not comfortable at all. When asked to change the room, the hotel wanted us to pay more. The excuse was that we paid for a double bed room. But even if you pay for double bed, you expect the beds to be good not horrible matresses which allows you to fall in between when you are sleeping with your partner.

The room was too cold. We tried to warm the room but the temperature was still very low. When complained next morning, the staff did change the room...but did not regret at all. When they argue to pay extra money for changing a double bed to a queen bed, why they should not refund the money for giving a defective rule. They did not even have decency to listen to customer. only after I accepted their substandard room and declining to pay more for queen bed room, and communicating that I will never again stay with them, their manager came to my room and again blamed me that if the room was cold I should have informed them in the night, if i inform anything next morning they can not do anything... What i miss overall is - if customer has a shortcoming they are responsible, but hotel room malfunctioins also, customer is responsible... you dont expect this from a hotel like Van Der Walk

Heerlijke bedden en kussens

Ik was er met mijn zoontje van zes en we er was een game room met een pooltafel, tennistafel en voetbaltafel en dat viel in de smaak. We hebben ook samen gesport en van de sauna gebruik gemaakt dat was fijn.

De kamergeur was niet echt heel prettig, de rook van sigaretten van de balkons naast ons gaat makkelijk naar binnen. Het restaurant Nest in het hotel is prijzig en niet het eten is niet bijzonder. Het was druk en de bedienig was traag. Je moet er bijna 4 euro voor een fles kraanwater betalen.
