The staff were lovely, beautiful decor and the meal we had there was amazing.

Our experience at Riad Fes Baraka was great, and these were my highlights: Riad facilities: The place is beautiful; everything seems newly renovated, and the decoration is lovely, perfect for taking great pictures. 10/10. Staff: All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They took great care of us. 10/10. Room: Small but suitable if you're just using it to sleep. Cleanliness: Everything was spotless. 10/10. Breakfast: It was included in our booking and it was amazing—very tasty and just enough to start the day. The coffee was great and we fell in love with their tea. Spoiler alert: they serve a Moroccan-style breakfast, which means it’s not protein-heavy; it’s mostly sweet and bread-based. That’s the Moroccan way. 100/10. Dinner: We only had dinner at the riad once, but it’s definitely worth mentioning—it was delicious. Massage service: Only my wife used this service, and according to her, it was great and totally worth it. Bonus: The riad offers local beer and wine, which is great after a long day walking through the medina. Nothing like relaxing with a cold beer or a glass of wine. Definitely a great place to stay.

Room size and layout: : Here I want to be very objective. As with any accommodation, the level of comfort depends on the price you choose. In our case, since we were on a budget, we chose the cheapest option available, and we got a very small and kind of dark room called “Chaouen.” It wasn’t really a problem since we only used the room to sleep, but it’s not very practical. For instance, there’s no space to walk along the sides of the bed—you have to climb in from the foot of the bed and work your way up, and the same to get out. As an example, one morning I stepped on the mattress to get down faster and accidentally bumped my head on the ceiling lamp (not a big deal, but it happened). Another point is the private bathroom. It is listed as “private bathroom” in the facilities shown when selecting the room in the booking app, and for me that was enough. However, I learned that I also need to check the room description (which I had never done before), because that’s where they explain that the private bathroom is actually outside the room. This is not very convenient: every time you need to use it, you have to open and close your room door, go down two steps, walk a couple of steps, go up two steps, open and close the bathroom door, and repeat the process on the way back. It is important to mention that the accommodation sent us a message the day after we booked to inform us about the bathroom situation, and they even offered to move us to another room depending on availability. It didn’t happen—I assume there was none.

Gute Lage, um die Medina zu erkunden. Der vom Hotel vermittelte Guide war sehr gut, allerdings auch nicht besonders preiswert. Das Hamam war gut, allerdings recht beengt in einem sehr kleinen Raum mit schmalen Bänken. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, tolle Verzierungen und ansprechende Einrichtung. Uns hat es nicht gestört, dass das Bad mit zwei Schritten über den Flur zu erreichen war. Alles war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück war gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich.

Die Anfahrtsbeschreibung und Hinweise zu den Parkmöglichkeiten hätten besser sein können. Wir haben schließlich in einer Tiefgarage in 3 Minuten Entfernung geparkt. Pro Nacht haben 3€ pro gekostet.

Très beau Riad, proche de la porte bleue, offrant des prestations de très bon rapport qualité- prix. Les repas ( dîner et petits déjeuners ) sont de qualité et copieux : merci à Samira. L accueil, la disponibilité de Samir sont très appréciables ( renseignements - taxis - excursion s) . Nous avons eu l’occasion de passer un moment au spa et le gommage est une expérience à faire . Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la personnalisation du séjour : nous recommandons ce Riad .
