Cabanas Tulum- Beach Hotel & Spa

Excellent service, clean and well cared for hotel. Beautiful spa!

Stayed here for 3 days in Feb. Good location a room had a great view of the beach and a lovely patio. Breakfast was delicious and fresh! Ziggys beach club was also wonderful. I enjoyed daily yoga and massages at the spa. Only con was that I booked the room with the rooftop terrace and “hot tub”. Please note that this is a large bath tub that is not filled daily. You must fill it yourself like you would a regular bathtub. It’s not a jacuzzi hot tub that is ready for you to enjoy daily. In addition the hammock on the balcony was sandy and quite dirty. Room not worth the price due to this.

The spa was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The space is beautiful, calming, and truly feels like an escape the moment you walk in. Karime is hands down the best massage therapist in town — 10/10 without hesitation. Her technique, pressure, and intuitive touch are unmatched. She knows exactly how to release tension and restore balance. I highly recommend doing the hydrotherapy first and then following it with the holistic massage. That combination is next-level relaxation. You will leave feeling lighter, reset, and completely renewed. This wasn’t just a massage — it was an experience. I will absolutely be back.

The hotel and staff exceeded our expectations.This charming hotel is warm, with clean & comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens and amenities, within a few steps from the white sand, turquoise water beach. The attention to details by friendly staff is unmatched, we felt safe and well cared for. Breakfast was included and their two restaurants offered a good mix of satisfying & delicious dishes and drinks in their menu. It is on the quieter, more relaxing side of Tulum and within walking distance of many night clubs and restaurants. We were here 10 years ago and will definitely comeback again. Special thanks to Aldo,Ana,Nancy,Ken,Vale,Mariana,David and Marisol, thank you for treating us so well.

Amazing, wonderful experience! Above all else the team is incredibly friendly and warm and helpful: I borrowed a shaker from the bartender almost every night to make drinks in our room before going to dinner. The reception team responded instantly on WhatsApp to anything we needed. Our room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed. Chairs and lounge beds on the beach are perfect with great mix of sun and shade. Quiet section of beach, lots of shopping and food just down the street. We will stay again here for sure when we return to Tulum.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one is truly well deserved. Our stay at Cabañas Hotel Tulum was exceptional from start to finish. The level of personal service was unlike anywhere we’ve stayed — the staff called us by our first names, and it genuinely felt like we were treated as family, not guests. Guillermo, Antonio, and Aldo were the ultimate “yes” guys — always going above and beyond, never saying no, and always with a warm smile. They made everything effortless and special. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. At times, it honestly felt like we were the only guests on the property, which made the experience even more peaceful and intimate. The front desk team was also incredibly helpful, gracious, and attentive — always ready to assist with anything we needed. This hotel made us feel cared for in a way that’s rare. We will definitely be back, and we’re so grateful to the entire team for such a memorable stay. Highly, highly recommend.
