Lovely little part of Sukhothai and a wonderful, clean, wholesome resort

A very nice nature resort. Small cabins to stay. Quite spacious. Beautiful garden with an authentic atmosphere. Quite comfortable. Good location close to the town. Resort offer free bikes to get into town and explore the surroundings. Very friendly personal. Very quite. Decent breakfast, but not exeptional. A few alternative restaurant close by. Suitable for families with children. But not a lot to do for them. A nice swimming pool. To recommend.

So easy to get the historical park. Went at 0630, saw everything, back by 0830. I forgot about breakfast. At 0930 a restaurant staff member knocked on my door and offered to bring me breakfast. Wow! It was so good. Such a special place.

We stayed for 10 nights. Most people just travel through Sokhothai and stay for a day. Well that is fine but if you’re looking for a nice place to relax in a very beautiful surroundings I would recommend you stay a little longer. We had a deluxe room with a wonderful view overseeing the pond. The room is spacious and very clean. The beds are a little hard but you get that a lot of the time in hotels. Wonderful Natur around you and d a nice pool. The breakfast is ok but you need to like Thai food. The staff are very friendly but you need to be patient with English speaking sometimes. Near to all you need, just ask at the reseption for a tuck tuck. Takes 5 minutes to get to the national park. Would stay again.

On arrival we were lied to and advised that a free rickshaw to the main road would be provided which was not the case. This was par for the course with this hotel. We stayed for only 2 nights and in that time our locked luggage in our locked room was knifed open, a lot of our money stolen and the bag glued back together. There was NO safe provided in the room and we were out on a day tour at the time. Unfortunately we were trusting and as the room was dimly lit we assumed it was just damaged in the trolley to the room as everything inside appeared ok on the surface. After the heat of the day and our case being in the minivan the glue the culprit used had started to melt and the extent of the damage became more obvious. On arrival at our next hotel that evening we checked inside the pockets of our money wallet under our passports and the majority of the money was gone. We should have gone with our initial instinct but really did not believe the hotel staff would do such a thing...we were wrong, trust no one. This was an inside job we have no doubts and multiple staff were likely involved, knowing our itinerary and how to get into our room. No one else had access to our room or belongings at the time of the damage. We did not mislay the money we knew exactly where and what we had. As we had already left earlier that day (to Chaing mai) we reported this to our agent who requested CCTV and we reported this to the police who are continuing to investigate as of now ( 3 weeks later). The room had an interconnecting door and sliding doors at the back which I can imagine has no CCTV frustratingly and conveniently for them! Other than that the beds were rock hard, the tap was hanging off in the bathroom and we were not given the correct amount of towels after maid service, likely because they were distracted stealing from us instead. Do not put yourself, family or belongings at risk...who knows what could have happened had we returned early and confronted the thief holding a knife. If you are unfortunate enough to already have a booking here and are unable to cancel it keep everything valuable on your person at all times and check everything before you arrive and before you step foot out of the hotel. Hotel management have been requested to provide us with compensation for the damage and theft plus a refund but we are still waiting at this time and have received nothing. Until the police were involved they did not want to know. To add not only did you cause us severe distress and worry you ruined the rest of our holiday as we could not relax due to this playing on our minds. You not only stole our money but destroyed a brand new suitcase and our trust in all hotel staff not only in Thailand but across the world. We will never forget this awful experience. When we look at our damaged case it makes us feel sick. Please do not respond to this review I cannot stomach any lies or excuses. You verbally confirmed that you do not allow strangers into your hotel grounds and therefore agreed your staff were the culprits. Please return our money to us via our agent asap this was a significant amount not just a couple of pounds. I hope our report and this review can prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Well placed for visiting the historic park. Good restaurant with lots of options including western sandwiches etc. Lovely grounds, fun feeding the fish. Friendly staff. Nice room, bit worn but charming.

Pros: 1. Friendly staff 2. Clean and safe 3. Free breakfast 4. Dinner menu and my favourite is spaghetti seafood Cons: Nothing I can think off. Keep up with the standard.
