Dara Samui Beach Resort Adults Only, Chaweng

This hotel was better than expected. The staff are all so friendly and sincere. The beds are the most comfortable and very big room with ample space. Breakfast is excellent with many things to suit most tastes. Thanks Tor and Jeep and the guys at the egg station.. you are so helpful and amazing. We will definitely recommend this hotel

I recently stayed with Dara on a solo vacation where my main intention was to have a peaceful, relaxing and 'me time' experience and that's exactly what I got. Since returning, I have used examples from my experience to demonstrate what excellent customer service is all about and it's natural for the Thai culture; the people are what make the experience so special. Kevin, Ko Ko and Ko and the beach bar were all very helpful and attentive, with Kevin being a standout. Tor is Dara Cafe, who has worked with the owner for 35 years, is amazing and the lady who was responsible for guest relations was excellent. I wish I could mention everyone I interacted with. The location is the best along the Chaweng strip and was the only resort that had a true private section on the beach with direct water access. I felt welcomed and when I return to Koh Samui, Dara will be my choice to stay with again. My preference and recommendation is to book the Dara Villa. The room exceeded expectations, the bed was comfortable and the shower room was amazing.

The room......well suite, was excellent. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfast was very good with ample choices. Pool and beach area very clean and always space available.

The fact that people were actually smoking sat at the bar was very off putting when trying to order a drink

The staff are amazing. They go above and beyond to remember you and what you order. Whether having breakfast or drinks bu the pool they make the effort to remember what you like and are always there The place is absolutely beautiful I wouldn't stay anywhere else
