Andaman Lanta Resort

Fint hotell med bra läge på stranden. Enkel frukost. Något dyra rum i förhållande till nivå på boende. Bra utbud av goda smoothies och smårätter vid poolen. Fantastiska iced latte! Underbara solnedgångar. Väldigt få som åt på restaurangen på hotellet. Få solstolar. Gäster var ute och paxade stolar före 0600. Skolklasserna med barn som bodde på hotellet tre dagar som fullkomligt tog över både poolområdet och stranden under dessa dagar drar ner betyget.

Nous avons séjourné trois nuits pour 185€ dans cet hôtel, et l’expérience a été très décevante. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons constaté un manque flagrant d’entretien dans la chambre : • Propreté inexistante : sol poussiéreux, oreillers tachés, lambris arraché, murs et papier peint sales. Sous le lit, un véritable nid à poussière. • Salle de bain problématique : douche impossible à régler, soit glaciale, soit brûlante. • Mauvais état des équipements : la climatisation était défectueuse et ne pouvait pas être orientée, rendant la pièce inconfortable. • Isolation catastrophique : impossible de dormir correctement avec le bruit de la rue et des chambres voisines. De plus, la lumière entrait de partout (rideaux peu occultants, jour sous la porte). • Problème d’insectes : la porte du balcon laissait un large espace, permettant aux moustiques et autres insectes de rentrer. • Hygiène douteuse : ma serviette de piscine avait un chewing-gum collé dessus, ce qui en dit long sur le manque de soin apporté au linge. Seul point positif : la piscine, qui était propre et agréable. Face à tous ces problèmes, nous avons demandé un changement de chambre, mais l’hôtel a exigé un supplément, ce que nous avons refusé. Résultat : aucun effort de leur part et nous sommes restés dans la même chambre. En résumé, une très mauvaise expérience, un hôtel qui ne mérite absolument pas ses étoiles. À éviter !

Fantastic! Saved our holiday. We’re staying here at the moment and it’s amazing. We started off in a really bad hotel and were struggling to find somewhere to move to. We got so lucky that they had 2 rooms available as they’re sold out here for most of the year! We have a sea front bungalow and a sea view room 1 story up (panoramic) I think they call it. Both amazing but the sea front view is unbelievable. I’ve never stayed anywhere as lovely. The room is massive and modern. There’s two private sunbeds in front with shade facing the beach which is only a 100 meters in front of you. Staff are really lovely. They’re training up some new staff in the restaurant at the moment and they’re all still so nice and helpful. The reception staff couldn’t have been more patient and kind to us when we arrived desperate for a room! Food is really nice. Everything in the resort is close by, well kept and despite the hotel being sold out now it’s still not busy. Plenty of sun-beds in and out the shade. Lots of chairs in the shade too. If you have small children they even have a baby menu in the restaurant, high chairs and good small pools for kids. You can hire snorkelling gear and kayaks for free from the hotel. We don’t go away much, this was a big holiday for us and we were so upset when our last hotel turned out to be bad. This hotel has really saved our holiday. It can be hard to judge a hotel from the reviews (like we found with our last one) but I’ve looked at the reviews for here and the low ratings are either old (they must have renovated it because nothing apples now. Maybe it does for the rooms further back? But ours are great) or they’re for odd things like rocks in the sea? (There’s not loads, you can easily swim round them, the beach is massive with mostly open space and sand)

Bra hotell med bra läge. Trevligt poolområde.

This resort is more developed compared to the seasonal resorts out in the Andaman sea so you can better decent wifi and a great beach location. Don’t miss the poolside Thai massage for 60 minutes. The food isn’t great. Nearby is both a 7-11 and a supermarket within walking distance for snacks and booze. Don’t miss the sunset here as it is spectacular!

Perfekt läge, nära strand och restauranger.

Allt var jätte bra förutom att solsängarna var upptagna redan kl 8 på morgonen , vore bra om det fanns mer stolar och solsängar för plats finns

Ble skuffet over rommet. En av som var gammel og veldig støyende. Skulle ønske at det var madrasser på solsengen ved poolen.

I didn’t book this in the first place or I cancelled it and I’ve been charged £160 through Booking. I have messaged Booking.com directly. I’ve also contacted the Hotel and I have not had a reply from either of them. I am back in Collander on the 17th and will be personally going to this hotel to ask for a refund.

Boka solstol redan efter 12 på kvällen. Väldigt lite solstolar och ingen ordning, annars toppenhotel.
