Andaman Lanta Resort

We had a beautiful pool view cottage that we thoroughly loved but we had to move to an ocean review which seems amazing but beware! No privacy whatsoever! Restaurant /bar is right beside your cottage. We had a very noisy group who wouldn’t leave even though the place closed at 9:30. The concept of a quiet ocean view is very deceiving!

The only redeeming feature is the pool and the situation on the beach, although the sunbeds are dirty. We booked a deluxe room but it was very basic, especially the bathroom that had a shower mounted high on the wall and it was just a wet room. There were 2 small chairs on the balcony but. no table. The standard rooms overlooked a very noisy road and some of the bungalows were also by the road, with only a view of the rooms opposite. The wifi was very poor and you had to keep logging in. Breakfast was very basic and very little choice. It has the appearance of being very run down.

Desperately we arrived at the resort in hope of free rooms (just cancelled at an other horrifying resort minutes before) - we were very welcomed by the staff, whom immediately started searching for free rooms. The first night we wished to stay in a pool-view bungalow, but quite fast me and my boyfriend agreed on moving to the deluxe rooms (regular hotel rooms) instead. Unfortunately the bungalow seemed a little old, many mosquitoes and the air condition were also a bit to noisy. Anyhow the staff quickly help us move into the deluxe room, which was a really nice and clean room. The room contained the best air condition I’ve ever experienced! Bathroom didn’t have shower curtain, so most of the room got wet while showering, the water in the shower was unfortunately a little to freezing. We had some problems with the toilet, but they fixed it right away. I really enjoyed my stay a lot, the pool area is amazing (even though sun beds are a little hard to lay on) and it’s located right next to beach. The beach in front of the resort is rocky, but it doesn’t take more than two minutes walk, then you got sandy beach parts. All the staff/waiters seems so polite, nice and sweet - maybe not the quickest when it comes to picking up used plates (at the pool area), but it wasn’t to big of an problem. Even though the facilities had some flaws, it didn’t seem to bother us at all, sometimes the little details matters, but at this resort we barely noticed them. I would love to come back, price goes along with what you get. Definitely suited for family with kids! While our stay, there were MANY families with kids whom used the pool area all day long. Only mentioning this, if you are looking for a quiet place to stay. The resort provides a restaurant, bar, it’s possible to bye day trips and get travel info, WiFi, pool, AC, breakfast, soap, coffee/the, 2 bottles of water, beach towels and regular towels, television, DVD (only Thai channels) an so on. Best view for sunsets!

Dejlig afslappende atmosfære. Vi boede i et af de ældre værelser, men der var rent. Personale var super søde

Slitet hotell men mycket bra läge vid stranden och massvis med resturanger fanns i närheten. Personalen var vänliga. För pengarna är det absolut värt, men långt ifrån en wow-upplevelse. Vill man komma billigt undan så är det toppen. Frukosten var inte bra.

För allt hitellet brister i (och det är en del) så kompenserar pensonalens vänlighet upp det lite. Tyvärr kommer inte betyget över 2 för vår del för att: Hotellet är i stor renoverinsbehov med sliten fasad, mörk korridor, sprickor i pool etc. Badrummen var små och ofräscha. Inte städningen men själva känslan. Rummet vi hade var mörkt och mygg kunde ta sig in. Täcket vi hade var under all kritik. Själva mellantäcket kändes väldigt ofräscht. Frukosten var bra. Läget var riktigt bra.

Bra boende med trevlig personal. Bodde i standardtyp ut mot trädgården. En annan gång tar vi utsikt mot poolen eller en bungalow. God mat i grannrestaurangen Koala. Åt bbq på slow down lite längre ner på stranden. Supergott för 400 bath på tisdagar med trevligt tillhörande musikquiz om man vill.

Great location, near the pier. Room was nice and clean, we had sea view. Restaurant was littel to expensive for as and too much European food, but breakfast was good. Beach is near and good for swimming. There was ticket sales table with good and quick service - thank you :) We rented motorbike and we bought some tickets there.

Efter problem med incheckningen så fick vi ett annat rum. Helt ok intryck av allt, höga trappor så har man småbarn som oss så försök få på nedre plan. Det fick inte vi då det var fullbokat sades det, vilket de inte var. Dåligt utbud på frukost vissa dagar fick man en tallrik, sonen på 1,5 skulle inte få ngt då han inte hade biljett, detta löste sig efter vi gick till receptionen där det sades att han självklart skulle få frukost. Mycket bök i början. Bra pool och Strandläge.

Bra hotell med hjälpsam personal. Rena rum men lite slitet. Frukosten var under all kritik, torftig och små ”bananflugor” överallt där maten var. Poolområdet var toppen
