"Staying in Econolodge at Drumheller Alberta Canada was unpleasant. You won't get a restful night."

Air conditioner was too noisy. It was impossible to sleep while it was on. Korean owner was trying to save electricity. Breakfast was lousy and miserable. Duration of breakfast was from 7.30 am to 9.00 am only. Korean owner was watching guests like a hawk to ensure guests did not take more than allowed. Korean owner claimed we broke the small and filmsy plastic lever of a soap dispenser and made us pay for it. We had no choice but to pay for it as we didn't check if it was broken before staying in the room. Looked like a scam. All out to get more money from guests. Hope he does not do that to other guests. Will stay away from Econolodge especially one runned by a Korean.

The time allowed for breakfast was very short and people were literally lining up. There were not enough seats / tables available. The breakfast was the most basic i have ever experienced (no name yogurt, white bread, no juice and very bad coffee) and the quantity available was far too little for the guests.

The staff / management were clearly trying to cut costs by providing too little and very cheap food. They were miserable and i actually heard the woman on desk arguing that her request for more toilet paper was because they had used up all that had been provided. Is that really necessary?!

Pretty decent - good to use as a base for exploring. Nothing fancy but clean and good service. Breakfast was ok for what it was but man. invest in some good quality coffee with lids for your to-go cups and people will be fine with the limited food item selection.
