"Sad Experience"

2.0

I called ahead to Hotel as I was informed departing Costa Rica that I would need a "Fiebre Amarilla" vaccine (yellow fever vaccine) and requested that the reception at Casa Natura Galapagos call me back if the vaccine was available on the Island. A Ms. Pilar did not think this was an urgent enough medical request and let me come ahead to the Galapagos when I could have easily gotten the vaccine on the mainland. My trip was delayed 10 days, at much expense to me because of this. Other problems with my room: -Checked into occupied room -Twin beds in new room instead of requested full/queen -No hot water -No bath tub stop -No mattress pad -Mold on pillowcase -Turn down service entered room while I was asleep -Hotel lost power @0515 I have fotos of mold and bare beds

"Not a bad hotel but rates too high for this standard."

6.0

I have several small gripes about this hotel which I wouldn't bother mentioning if it was priced at a lower rate. We were there for 3 nights, it was ok but not a great stay. The hotel was about 3 blocks from the main area of town, we didn't have a problem walking as the town is very safe. Taxi's are only $1 where ever you go in the town. Even though the rooms appeared to be clean we could see that the bathroom had not been cleaned very well. Hairs in the bath and on the floor also a small dead spider was on the bath when we arrived and still there 3 days later. The Television didn't work even though they had someone try to fix it on the second day. The staff were young, very pleasant and helpful even though they didn't speak good English. The island has very limited hotels and from what I heard the standards are pretty similar every where.

"Decent Hotel"

8.0

Overall I thought it was a decent place to stay. The only issue I had was that the hot water did not have much water pressure. If you turned on the cold water then the water was too cold. However, if you turned on the hot water and waited 10 minutes before getting into the shower, then the pressure increased and you could take a decent shower. Other than it was fine. Breakfast was good, room was clean, I had plenty of space (four beds for just me) and the staff were friendly and helpful.

"Went out of their way to accomodate us"

10.0

The hotel was only built in 2009 and is in mint condition. Staffed by locals most of whom had very good english who went out of their way to walk their clients down the road to bus stops, taxis, whatever they needed. The only complaint was that the walls were thin and you could hear kids running around at all hours. The on-line map does not show its location acuratly, its actually north of the port's main road (charles darwin ave) by about five blocks but still super easy to find, 10 minute walk from anything perfectly safe and definetly worth it.

"Casa Natura - Middle of the Road"

6.0

This hotel was average. The hot water was spotty and the water pressure lacking. The breakfasts were very repetitive and unimaginative. The staff was very nice and the President of Ecuador was arriving there as I was leaving, so it can't be all bad.

"Casa Natura was a great choice for our stay in Puerto Ayora."

8.0

The Casa Natura was an excellent no frills hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be of service. The main street in Puerto Ayora was a short walk away.

"Had a great time and the hotel was wonderful!"

8.0

Casa Natura was a great place to spend a week. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative. We really enjoyed the breakfeast each morning, it was excellent, delicious and was homemade. The location was a short walk to the central. One small downside was a church that love to sing and play music at early hours. It was Christmas season and we understood. The music it actually added character to the hotel. We would defintely stay at Casa Natura and refer it to friends and family. Feliz anno nuevo, David

"GREAT HOTEL!!!"

10.0

This is my second time in Galapagos. Two years ago I travelled in a Cruise for 3 days and 4 nights but I could not visit Isabela Island. This time I decided to do the tour by myself and stayed in Casa Natura Hotel in Puerto Ayora. I had a great time at CASA NATURA HOTEL. I really enjoyed the hotel. The place was clean, quiet and the staff treated you like family. The Galapagos Islands are an amazing place to visit . I really enjoyed the trip, the tours and the great hospitality of the staff . I will for sure come back again.
