Pleasant Valley Motel West Stockbridge

The location is great if you are going to Tanglewood, but everything else was poor. Wall paper falling off the wall, dead bug on bathroom floor, blood stain on shower curtain, towel rack coming off the wall. One bed if you sat on one side, the mattress lift off and practically dumped you on the floor. The hotel backs up to a major highway which you can hear. I would have left if we hadn’t pre-paid.

There was no breakfast--see below.

The info on booking.com indicated that breakfast was included at no cost. The receptionist told us that breakfast was served only on weekends. We had to drive to a town 20 minutes away to find a place serving breakfast. Booking.com should compensate us monetarily for this inconvenience. If we don't hear from you in a week, we will tell all our family and friends never to book with your organization again.

The hotel property looks tidy and we'll maintained on the outside, but the inside is very run down! Peeling wallpaper, huge yellow stains on shower curtains, dirty old carpeting, beds are like sleeping on a metal boxspring, had to unplug things to use other things due to lack of power. Heat didn't work.... And on, and on, and on. I even had the owner move me to a different room and it was the same deal, except had 2 beds instead of one and he made me agree to use only one of the beds. The "Continental breakfast" was set up on a porch outside and consisted of Cheerios, coffee and a single little store bought container of mini chocolate chip muffins, only served on Saturday and Sunday. It was a nightmare! I was in town for a wedding and unfortunately didn't have the time to find another place to stay, nor did I want to lose the non-refundable cost of my stay. DO NOT STAY THERE!! There must also be a reason that there are triple locks on the inside of each room's door. Yikes!

Room is comfortable and clean. Only somewhat annoying issue is we could hear the traffic on Route 90 which is fairly near the facility.

No breakfast that was offered but only on weekends. Musty odor. Sheets didn’t fit bed although bed was comfortable. Desperately needs updating of everything. No refigerator. TV did work. Never saw any staff except through a tiny window and not too friendly. Best thing was price and near to where we needed to be

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the TV and some of the lights didn’t work. I went out at 7 AM to ask when breakfast was, and was told it’s only on weekends. This should be made clear up front. Price is right and the place is convenient to the Norman Rockwell Museum.

Good basic standard motel. More clean and comfortable then I expected for this type of accommodation. Breakfast very basic.

No coffeemaker or kettle in the room (or any source of hot water), can't make cup of tea.

We can always depend on a clean room, simple breakfast and most importantly, our clean towels. When there are 3 of us, its gets complicated. The are always available and prompt.
