Adamton Country House Hotel

The hotel is in a nice location and was convenient for our stay. The reception staff were available whenever needed and were helpful. The Wi-Fi connectivity was also good and reliable throughout our stay. What I didn't like: The toilet seat was not properly cleaned when we arrived, which was disappointing. In addition, the anti-slip mat in the bathroom was completely soaked, making the bathroom feel less hygienic than expected. Overall: The place is nice and offers reasonable value for money. We stayed for one night as a family, and it was adequate for a short stay. Considering the price, it was an acceptable experience.

Enjoyed

Room was clean with new shower and batbroom

No hot water at all right through stay tries at times that there wouldn't potentially be a lot of usage too.. Ran slightly tepid then freezing cold. Let shower run to see if hot/ warm came through....it didn't. Did complain, net with complete apathy, no offer of another room etc. Really disappointing.

Big comfy beds

Bar and restaurants were closed so not an awful lot to do if arriving early.

Garden was great for the dogs

You really do get what you pay for. The cheapest mattress you can buy. Only one thin pillow. I woke up each morning with terrible back pain from the bed. The place smelt badly of cigarette smoke. Doors banging all night and morning. Laundry all over the floors for hours throughout the day. The breakfast was not nice. My sausage was raw in the middle and so undercooked throughout.The bacon was fatty and barely cooked. Not worth the £12 95. My other half had diarrhoea the next day. It's a low price for a reason. For one night you will cope anymore and it will be a nightmare.

Staff were extremely helpful, room was renovated and much better than expected. Would book again thank you.

Excellent value, offer of 3 course meal for £15 was good but as a vegetarian I could not take the cheap option to book ahead as I didn't know what I was paying for, some options may have helped.

Comfortable, clean . Lovely room with a large tv. Meals only served on one occasion. Was very nice a reasonable choice of food and drinks Tea coffee, soft drinks all free with the meal.

Kitchen was closed most days No breakfast or evening meals. Only appeared to be open on Friday and Saturday.
