Die Lage am Wasserfall ist atemberaubend schön. Auch ist die Entfernung zum Volcano-Nationalpark gut! Die Empfehlung zu Jackies Restaurant war sehr gut. Die Government Benachrichtigen zu Eruptionen haben gut geklappt.

Es fängt schon mit der App an mit der man bei der Anreise über WhatsApp zum Check-in empfangen wird. Der Online-Check-in funktioniert noch halbwegs sinnvoll. Ab diesem Punkt geht es dann aber voll nach Absurdistan. Jetzt soll man sich einen einen Timeslot für das Frühstück reservieren und dabei seine Daten nochmal redundant eingeben. Wenn man zu diesem Zeitpunkt bei 4205m auf dem Mauna Kea die Aussicht genießt hat man dazu keinen Bock. Kommt man dann an wird man von einer jungen Dame wortgewaltig herumgeführt und auf alle Vorzüge des Hotels hingewiesen. Um es kurz zu machen, es hat kein Frühstück für uns gegeben. Einmal weil wir zum Vulkanausbruch mussten und beim zweiten Mal weil es erst Frühstück erst ab 8:30 gibt. Leider mussten wir um 8:00 schon zum Flughafen. P.S. Roomservice war auch nicht!

Very peaceful, only saw a few other guests. The snacks and breakfast provided were very nice. Loved the dining area with view of the falls. My daughter swam - 65° too chilly for me since our day was overcast. The grounds are lovely.

The property is beautiful, and there's an adventure to be had. The breakfast location is straight out of a book. There were snacks, tea and coffee a plenty in the house. The drive isn't unbearable.

The check-in process is too difficult. Youre supposed to arrive before 8pm. Why does it matter? Because you cannot stay and watch the volcano eruption during the dark. The drive will eat your time up and youll be late for check-in. You have to monitor email and whatsapp. You have to pre-register online before you're allowed to have the code to enter the property. I already registered on booking.com so why should i have to do it again? You have to reserve your breakfast time and pick your meal without seeing what you're ordering. The French toast was drowning in cinnamon. It was overbearing. There's no TV in your room. I get that you're enjoying nature, but after dark, there's nothing to enjoy. The staff was polite but not overly friendly. For the price and uniqueness of the stay, there were moments when I didn't feel particularly welcomed.
