Die Lage direkt am Fluss aber das wars dann auch schon!

Möbel/Austattung sehr in die Jahre gekommen (ausser Sofagarnitur)! Küche klebte, Geschirr/Töpfe schmutzig, Teppich sehr modrig, Bad wurde angeblich „renoviert“ (weiße Platten über alte Fliesen) und die Fenster voller Spinnweben etc.-sah nicht danach auch als wären sie die letzten Wochen mal geputzt worden! Im Hotel sollte es viel besser sein (was Gäste erzählt haben) Finde es total schade aus den Wasserhäusern könnte man soooviel tolles machen!

Lovely property in a quiet, peaceful area. In reality Water Houses are better than on the photos.

At the time we arrived there was a strong smell from fields, luckily it was only for a day.

Lovely apartment. Good play park and soft play for young children to tire them out after an interesting day. The historic centre was very good. Our grandchildren really enjoyed the Annie Macleod experience. We had a great visit.

Stairs down to bedrooms with little children.

Location, spacious cottage. Lovely staff as ever. Just love this place.

An upstairs toilet is a bit annoying - also the swimming changing area needs updated - cold and not condusive to luxury place.

Great accomodation with really comfortable bed. Fantastic buildings, history and river views

While the accomodation is dog friendly, the hotel is not. For some bonkers reason poorly explained, and really bad thinking, dogs can only go in the hotel reception. I accept they should not go in the carpeted restaurant, but there is a bar with a wooden floor with tables for eating bar or restaurant meals. This means eating and drinking at low tables bending over food, and a 30m walk to get a beer each time. I do not get this and it mean eating on an open area uncomfortably rather than at a nnormal table. Places that are not dog friendly for non-reasons diminished the stay in a stunning place.

Everything about this property is perfect, its so peaceful with the sound of the river. The swimming pool and facilities were great and we ate at the restaurant on one night which was lovely. All the staff are polite. This was the perfect couple of nights away

The only thing that would have been nice, is a larger sofa in the living room, even though there was only me and my husband there wasn't much room to sit comfortably. And considering this sleeps 5 it would be a struggle to fit anyone else comfortably there. Also there is loads of cupboard space but the cupboards are already filled with items which is great but doesn't leave room to put any food items away, we made it work, but had to move glasses around to make room. Just little recommendations but other than that it was perfect
