Hotel Chantecler

Hotel arredato in modo minimale, bagno piccolino senza bidet, doccia con acqua abbondante,. La zona è centrale , a 50 m dalla via commerciale che porta alla stazione Midi, circondato da locali /birrerie comunque non rumorosi. nella hall bollitore con tisane di vario tipo e macchinetta del caffè con cialde. Aperto 24h/24 con porta automatica con combinazione , il gestore non è sempre presenta, ma è gentile e premuroso.

The location is excellent. The hotel itself is okay: it is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the shower is great. There is also an elevator, which is convenient. However, the sound insulation is not very good, and it is possible to hear noise from other rooms.

The main downside is the lack of services. There is no 24-hour reception; I only saw the person responsible for reception at check-in, and for check-out I simply left the key in a box. There is no breakfast, and there was not even a working coffee machine in the hotel. The room also does not have a minibar. Another inconvenience was that there was no one available to ask about luggage storage, so I had to find and pay for an external luggage storage service.

Easy acces to Brussels center

It looked like a crackhouse- money has not been invested in this property since 30 years at least; very old, worn out; the hallway doors are very loud and you can hear them in your room; overall looked pretty disgusting. Very sad that 100€ a night means nothing anymore Hot water didn’t work so I had to shower with cold water at 5:45 am
