All rooms are on either first or second floor, and there is no elevator. The hotel is not suitable for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. Reservations for the restaurant are necessary. To guarantee a reservation at the restaurant please contact the hotel in advance to reserve a table, once you have booked your room. Bar meals are not served on Friday and Saturday nights or when the restaurant is very busy.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. The evening meal was good standard.

Noise: the people above came in at 1:45 am. It then sounded as if they paced the floor for 40 minutes. At 7am it sounded as if the floor was being polished above or vacuumed, which seemed early for the weekend.

Access to top floor room. Winding, steep staircase; not good for ages 75+ guests. No lift.

"Excellent place to stay to enjoy a time away and to explore the area"

Excellent dinner- great choice, great food

The only (slight) problem was the street cleaning outside the window on Saturday morning. The hotel cannot do anything about that and it did not diminish the enjoyment of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed both our time at the hotel and the surrounding area.
