Different to a boring commercial hotel. This is a friendly, charming traditional place to stay. The rooms and facilities are basic bringing a welcome simplicity to the hectic world outside. We couldn’t use the pool as too cold on winter. The room was ok; exceptionally quiet nicely on the rooftop allowing amazing sunset and sunrise but a complete blackout windows meant you could have sun or total darkness as you liked. The breakfast was ok but no choice. I struggled with the very low lighting especially in the room and it was generally very dark. Would recommend and the location is excellent and felt very safe.

"Lovely riad in a great location"

8.0

This is a lovely riad in a great location - steps away from Tinsmith Sq / Place des Ferblantiers which is perfect for the spice market, great bars and restaurants, the Mellah, and a quick walk to Jemaa el Fnaa, or for finding a taxi. The tiny fried fish / aubergine cafe round the corner is perfect for a take away lunch. We arrived just before sunset and the wonderful staff brought mint tea and little biscuits up to the roof terrace for us so that we could watch the stunning sunset while filling out the check in form. The room and bathroom were great (lovely big towels!) and the friendly staff always on hand if needed and super helpful. Definitely recommended. Went as a couple but this riad would be great for families too.

"A genuine Moroccan experience"

10.0

Riad Aladdin is perfectly situated just inside the city wall so that taxis can drop you off at the door.  Many Riads are not so accessible Riad Aladdin is near a square with bars and restaurants so you don't have to walk far if you arrive late in the day. Cash (Sterling) is best. Any bureau will exchange for Dirhams, but not cards. A lot of places will accept Euros.  The Hotel Ali in the main square offers the best exchange rate.  Don't be put off by the queue.  It is fast moving. Alcohol: Be aware that alcohol is only available in a few restaurants and is expensive. The Riad Aladdin has a bar .

"Lovely welcoming accomadation "

8.0

Very welcoming staff, lovely traditional breakfast consisting of different types of bread jams honey yoghurt and fruits. Tea and coffee also served. Perfect location in the old town and it felt very safe and secure. We were greeted on arrival with a mint tea. Comfortable bed and everything was clean. Gorgeous roof terrace . The only thing I'd suggest is having a kettle in the room as i wake up early and like to make tea straight away.. Other than that it was perfect for our short break in Marrakech.

"Lovely, quiet little Riad"

10.0

We been here for 4 nights and honestly, we've found it just perfect. Its in the best location, just 200m from souks, markets etc and it's so quiet. The staff are lovely and always happy to help. Breakfast it simple. Breads, yoghurt, fruit etc with jams, honey. They also offer massage and sauna etc although we didn't have time to try this out. We stayed in room 17, this is on the top floor, below the sun terrace It was very clean and staff were there daily to clean, tidy the room. The riad itself is beautifully kept. We flew with easyjet and whilst this was one of the cheapest on our search, it's fabulous 👌 If you are coming to Marrakech please stay here, it's next to Palace, restaurant's etc. Please be mindful in the souks if you are visiting for first time, the locals will try and send you around in circles to get you lost so you spend more money! Recommend, Kosybar, Dar Esselam and Palace cafe el badi

"Superb"

Very nice staff and very accomodating. We had an early flight so they set up our breakfast even earlier so we can eat before leaving. Location is perfect...near Badi and Bahia palaces. And near street where you can grab a taxi (cars cannot enter the medina)

Lack of strong light in the room. It's nice for a moody and intimate atmosphere but not convenient for getting ready, packing suitcases or make up for ladies

It is a very well-located Riat. It is beautiful inside, and the staff is super kind! The room we had was very well distributed, great size! It was just too close to the restaurant, so if you don't have plans to wake up early, I suggest to ask for a room on the other side. My only suggestion to the place is to change the bed top covers because, although they are very cute, they gather a lot of dust.
