Hotel Casa Antigua

Checking in was smooth and seamless. Our room (#19) had a damp feel to it. It was always musty during our 5 nights there. Room was clean and housekeeping was quite efficient. The water pressure for the shower was pitiful. Room & washroom amenities were adequate. Location was fabulous. A block and a half from the main square. Eateries, waterholes and attractions are all within walking distance. We would be hard pressed to stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Antigua Guatemala.

Checking in was smooth & pleasant. Room was clean but damp. Windows were sealed. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was in bad shape. Water pressure is weak. Cleaning staff were very efficient. Location is fantastic. If this hotel gets some tweaking and upgrading it will be close to a 4.5* establishment. We would be hard pressed to stay here if we returned to Antigua Guatemala.

Loved this hotel!! Everyone was kind and helpful. It is located in the middle of town.

Hotel is very well situated. Nice fountains. Room was very musty though and the mattress very hard. I didn’t have great sleeps because of the mattress but I’d stay again for the location and the pleasant patio where I’m sitting now.

The worst possible experience I have had at any hotel. Even thought I had booked the most expensive room, I was sent to a stinky room at the back of the hotel. They told me that they were sorry but that a group had booked all the hotel and that they didn't have any other room to offer me. As I checked in late I couldn't book any other hotel for that night,but I did fin a wonderful hotel for my second night in Antigua. They were not forthcoming to reimburse me back that second night. The room didn't have a window and the bathroom was so tiny that my ellbows were against the wall when sitting on the toilet so I couldn't reach the toilet paper. Really awful!!!. What terrible experience!!

Great location! Minutes from everyplace

I really liked this hotel. It has beautiful gardens in the courtyard. Our room was nice. Great location, very friendly staff and I felt safe. The weekend can get a little noisy with bar music down the street but other than that, it was great!

The tv set up needs to be updated

The atmosphere was beautiful!

Staff was really nice and pleasant. The location of the hotel was walkable distance from many points of interest. We loved it!
