The room was nice but because it is pet friendly the room had fleas.

Nice small hotel right downtown with many dinning and shopping options within walking distance. Quiet and clean rooms. Very affordable in the summer compared to other properties in the area.

Fun to walk boardwalk. Very pleasant area. Many shops outside your door. Scenic river.

The staff was excellent. The bed was awesome and the blanket looked new and clean. The bathroom wasn't great. The outer base of the toilet was dirty and the shower curtain was old looking. Everything else was great. Thank you!

Great location and check in was easy. The exterior looks updated. The lobby needs updating but is fine. The room was fairly clean but the bed was terrible. The toilet wouldn’t flush completely and almost overflowed at one point. Fortunately, there was a bathroom just down the hall.

On the positive side the hotel is right on the Riverwalk which is awesome. We really enjoyed our walk and the view from our room. Unfortunately room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was an empty water bottle under the bathroom sink and a considerable amount of hair on the bathroom floor. Room also had a somewhat musty odor. Also disappointing when we checked in there was a sign at the desk to call the number shown, which we did and waited about 15 minutes for someone to come. The young lady was apologetic but still frustrating. This location has a lot going for it but for the price was disappointed.

Location, property and staff were very nice.

The manager was very friendly and helpful. She had gone out on an errand and to grab some lunch, but returned when she saw us enter a bit earlier than check-in time. The location was great on the Manistee Riverwalk. Our room was large. There are a few things that need updated like sheets that fit the bed properly and damaged ceiling in the shower. Would definitely return, as we love the convenience to walking downtown, shopping, TJ's Pub and the boardwalk.

Do not second guess this hotel. Book now!!!! While on a road trip with my son we were looking for budget, and we hit the jackpot here. This hotel is nestled in the middle of Historic Downtown Manistee, about 50 minutes from Sleepy Bear Dunes. This hotel can be termed casual, laid-back. The rooms are roomy, well decorated as you see in the pictures, and very comfortable. There is a chocolate and ice cream shop next door. Down the street a little further is a nice hotdog and hamburger shop with pin ball machines still a quater. Or you can go to some of the fancier places. I wish I had more time to explore this town. I don't know if I'll ever be back. But if I do MIM will be my go to. You just can't go wrong by staying here.
