Hotel Woodland Dx

d worst hotel i have seen in paharganj..no room services ..quality of food is very bad..small room with a dirty smell ..never i recommed this hotel to anybody.

The hotel and staff were great. However, in the bathroom, the shower head was facing a very poor fitted/ bodged electric light. They were only some 3 feet apart and facing each other at the same height. Knowing that electricity and water don't mix, I showered in the dark. It's a shame about this, as the rest of the place was good.

I was excited to return to my country after years to have some quality time there. This excitement was completely killed when I reached hotel. It is located in a very crap area which a very bad reputation and the location was not ideal at all. It was very far from the airport and takes around an hour by taxi. The hotel has no facility at all and very unclear and unsafe. The staff in ill-mannered and indecent. I checked out of the hotel immediately and decided that I must for sure write a review so that other fellow travelers may be saved from this nightmare. My advice to everyone would be to go for a decent hotel and not be fooled by low price.

Good location, near New Delhi train station, on a street with lots of other hotels and eating places. Staff were friendly and helpful (let us use their office computer to do e-mail). No in-house restaurant; room service meals are available but are expensive compared to what is available outside. Coach tour to Agra that they organized was poor, not recommended.

I spent one night and a half here. Rooms are different from Expedia pictures. BUT, it was fine for the price I paid. I did some great shopping around the hotel. Room service was good with Indian food and Chinese fried rice. Will stay here again only for a room on the back side where it is "quieter" from the street noise. If you get a front room and don't mind HONKING till 12 am, you are fine. Bed sheets have seen better days. Hotel was more focused towards backpackers which was cool. Hotel arranged a taxi to the Delhi airport for 450 rupees. Front desk customer services were great for India and were interested to "listen" to you! They also have a tour service to near attractions. No heater for the cool nights in Delhi, but plenty on blankets to stay comfy up! Each room has its own hot water heater in the bathroom and it was extremely hot!!

very bad and dirty, no towels, no sheets for bed, big dirty stains all over walls and room. and the door handle to the bath room was rusted away, great big hole in the bath room wall and you could see the toilet in the next doors room. and there was no elecricity in the room. the manager seemed not to bothered . so all in all this hotel is a no no to any one, would not let a dog stay there. when i complained to hotels.com your service was fast and help full and my money was refunded quick so thank you once again for that. from mrs warburton.

This hotel was disappointing when comparing it against the photos and room descriptions provided. My room was extraordinarily small, in a state of disrepair, did NOT have a refrigerator, had no hot water, and had a grate at the top of the door that offered clear view of my room to anyone climbing the stairs. I realize that this is listed as a 2-star hotel but really? When the best someone can say about your hotel is that "at least there aren't any cockroaches", you've done something wrong. I will not stay here again.

It wasn't worth staying here, even at the low discounted rate they offer. The room was smelly, small, and dirty. The air wasn't clean to breathe. There were much nicer hotels for the same price only a short walk away, so it was not worth staying at this one.
