Riad Lyon-Mogador

A beautifully decorated, comfortable and friendly hotel in a great location. Bedroom was very well designed and I loved the four poster bed. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely and it was incredibly clean.

Check in was not ideal as a man followed us in when we opened the door on arrival and for some reason he was served first, even though he didn't even have a booking. After a long conversation he finally left, but it was frustrating that I had to wait with my baby after a tiring journey for the room I had booked. The staff member did then apologise, I think it was just unlucky timing.

Das Riad liegt sehr zentral in der Medina. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Besonders gefallen hat mir, dass das Riad Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Aktivitäten zur Verfügung stellt und man so nicht auf sich allein gestellt ist. Tipps vor Ort wurden mehrfach. Das Personal ist immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterasse war sehr gut.

Highly recommend this Riad. Great pre-trip communication e.g., directions and how to get a porter through the Medina. A friendly welcome and easy check-in process. The whole place was spotless - someone takes great care of the Riad - decor is natural, understated and elegant. Lovely soaps and shampoos provided. The rooms were quiet and beds very comfortable. We had the family suite and could spread out in separate rooms. The view from the rooftop is wonderful and breakfast is abundant with fruit salad, fresh orange juice, omlets, various breads + spreads and coffee/mint tea. Reception helped orient us with maps and recommendations. And stored our luggage for the day after we checked out.

Comfortable and great location in heart of medina. Lovely staff, good breakfast and roof terrace. Would stay again
