Courtyard Shreveport-Bossier City/Louisiana Boardwalk

My family and I recently stayed at this property and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The exterior of the building showed visible mold, and the staff member who assisted us at check-in (an older white woman without a name tag who declined to provide her name) was unprofessional and discourteous. She eventually brought over a male employee who offered no meaningful assistance as he just stood there with his hand on his hip and coffee in the other. Additionally, the elevator was out of service, and the hallway carpets appeared to be poorly maintained. Upon entering our room, we found trash still in the wastebasket, one of the beds looked as though it had already been used, and the pillows provided were unusually small. Later that evening, when preparing for bed, we discovered that the television did not work. When we contacted the front desk, the same male employee answered. He refused to issue a refund, provide another room, or offer any form of accommodation. He stated that he was aware of the issue but could not resolve it. After traveling many hours, we went downstairs to request to speak with the manager, only to be told by this employee that he was the General Manager. At that point, we understood that no resolution would be offered and chose to leave. Overall, the condition of the property and the quality of service were far below expectations. We will not be back to this property and will tell others the same. Not Marriott standard

Everything was amazing!! My check in was fast and easy. Everyone was so nice and friendly! The lobby and my room was very clean. I would definitely stay again!

The property was beautiful. Customer service at the bar was excellent, and the food was delicious.
