Beautiful and quiet place while so closed to the Windermere Library bus station

This accommodation has a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere which we felt upon arrival and is close to the Main Street in Windermere.

Can get a little noisy at times with the windows open.

Home cooked food, good choice of breakfasts, very convenient location for shops, eating places, bus and rail links. Clean and very pleasant accommodation with spacious car parking. Very obliging and personable hosts making this an enjoyable stay. Just a shame they can’t control the weather!

WI-FI a little inconsistent, doubtless due to the mountainous location. Otherwise everything was spot on.

这家是民宿，酒店位置非常好，是一栋老建筑，装饰得非常漂亮有品味。其他设施也还好，就是热水供应有点跟不上，我们是6人同时入住，晚上淋浴时的热水供应跟不上，2位客人洗好后就没有热水了，而且一个晚上都没有，第一天不知道，第三个客人满头洗发水就一下子没有热水，水龙头里放出的只有冰冷的冰水，只能硬着头皮匆忙将肥皂泡冲一下，一个星期都头疼。

Warm and welcoming owners with a lodge that was stylish and luxurious. The small garden was heaven to sit in and it was barely 1 minute into town. The parking was easy and very welcome and though we didn't have breakfast, it smelt fantastic.

The room was just a little smaller than we would normally go for. There were not quite enough sockets to have the fridge, kettle and coffee machine plugged in all at once.

Lovely hotel. We couldn't fault anything about it.
