"Hard to defind "

6.0

Hotel is a gem best left undiscovered as you need to ring the hotel for them to escort you as to try and find on your own is just imposable and that is what the inhabitants want. resion beening they charge you to help then send you round in a circle, So best pay the imployie of the hotel.

"Charming spot in the Medina"

8.0

The Riad was the kind of accommodation I was looking for and the Nabila has been superb. Massive rooms decorated with typical Moroccan style, a bit chilli in the night though.. Beautiful garden with pool in the middle and sofas all around. Listening to relaxing Moroccan music after a whole day in the Medina makes you feel amused. Not quite impressed about the location. It is really hard to find and we experienced a bed episode with the taxi that left us close to it but we were basically lost as a group of guys took us to the Riad in exchange of money. It was very annoying because I didn't have enough change and we have been threatened every time we were passing by there. Overall very nice experience.

"First time Marrakesh"

10.0

We stayed there for week, ant this was the best place where i stayed ever. Place is beautiful, traditional, and allow for full immerse in Moroccan style. If you want to gather some really new experience of life i strongly suggest to stay there. Staff is really friendly and will help you with all your issues so just let them know. Also they will always give you good advise. Remember this is not European country so its good to have small chat with them to learn little bit about a place. VERY IMPORTANT!!! Location!!! If you are first time in Marrakesh transfer from airport is the MUST. Riads in Medina (old town) are really hidden and they are difficult to find in first place. Just charm of the city:) And its really easy to be scammed by Taxi drivers on airport. Trust me, you will save money, time, and you will avoid unnecessary stress. Driver who will be send will pick up you from airport, drive you to place. Last few meters probably you will have walk, depend how big car was used, and then entrance from the street don't look great, but believe me or not when you pass main doors you will be like in another world. Ordering diner its also good idea especially if you arriving late. That way you can just enjoy evening without worrying about anything. Just let know staff you need it and they will organize it for you. I really recommend this place to everyone and i cant wait to return there this summer.

"Disappointing, and too far out"

6.0

the rooms get very cold in the cooler months - the AC does not do enough for the room. The road is so far out from the rest of the medina that even taxi drivers are reluctant to take you there, particularly when the roads are narrower. The menu is not flexible at all, they only serve chicken and soup and can't make additional meals or snacks such as fries without 12hrs notice. It is the most hospitable riad in Marrakech - there are better ones that are closer to the centre.

"Nice Riad but Inconvenient Location "

6.0

We spent 4 nights at Riad Nabila in December 2014. It was nice, clean, tranquil but a little damp. Staff were very nice and helpful. Some older reviews talk about a woman named Samira. She is not there anymore. The new manager is nice. Breakfast was ok but could have been better. There was bread, honey, jam, butter, juice and coffee. It was not a buffet. I guess that's what you should expect considering the low tariff. Only major downside is it is nowhere close to major attractions. Google map says it is a 23 min walk from the central square. But for most tourists it would easily become an hour. Nearest place where you can get a taxi is also a 7 minute walk from Riad Nabila.

"Nice riad but the location is an issue"

6.0

This was a beautiful riad, with nice rooms and a refreshing plunge pool. However, I think it lacks some of the details that make it 'luxury'; for example, none of the showers (overall we stayed in three rooms) attach to the walls and the staff do not change your towels (after three days using the same towel for washing, swimming and sunbathing this was a bit annoying). The staff are lovely, especially Noureldeen and Latifa- they would do anything you ask of them. The manager, Samira, was very chatty although as a young women I found her fairly patronising; she was always asking what I paid for things and telling me I should do things differently. I guess this is pretty common in Morocco but it often made me feel uncomfortable. The location is the biggest issue with this riad. It is at least thirty minutes from the square, and not at all easy to find. It is such a hassle, I would definitely recommend staying somewhere closer to the centre. You can find equally charming riads at half the price, for example Riad Sagaya in Bab Doukala.

"Oasis in the North of Marrakech"

8.0

Let me just start off my saying that the Riad itself is beautiful, the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. I truly felt like I was in paradise. The only drawback was the neighbourhood. Pretty much every second person came up to us and asked for money, LOTS of children showing you the way and then expecting you to give them money. Personally I did not like this very much at all and it certainly tarnished my experience. Not to mention the square was difficult to find since there were countless amounts of little alleyways that got us lost. Compared to the other riad we stayed at, this was definitely a challenge to navigate. Riad great, location not so much.

"Mean owners!"

4.0

Very hard to find the hotel, even a taxi dirver. The moroccoan staff are good and responsible. However the French owners are very mean. They controled all of the bills and tried to rip you off. A few examples: we had been offered a taxi to airport for 200 dirham, but they wanted us to pay 20 euros (it equal about 220 dirham) to them not the taxi driver; our booking showed a tax of 9.26 euros, they charged 10 euros; in the sametime for refund of 7.9 euros, they will give you 7 euros. It was not big money, but made you unpleasant.
