St. Judes Lodge B&B

È una bella struttura comoda al centro città che si raggiunge a piedi in 15 minuti. Molto utile il parcheggio privato. La camera di 15mq, pulita, come pure il piccolo bagno, ospitava ben 4 letti, di cui uno matrimoniale alla francese, rendendola poco confortevole: sembrava di essere in un ostello... La vista era poco gradevole su un parcheggio con strutture varie, non certo il panorama sul lago indicato (errore di Booking o del proprietario ?!). Per il prezzo pagato, non popolare e regolato in anticipo, anche se in linea con la media irlandese, cioè molto costosa, mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio...

Ho segnalato a Booking per iscritto quanto sopra: ahimè, nessuna risposta, peccato davvero...

Couldn't fault it

This B&B is within walking distance to town. We didn't need to worry about parking. We had a warm welcome from Sean. He provided us with a map of town, with recommendations to restaurants, etc. Although they provide free teas/coffee in the room. You can avail of complimentary coffee from coffee machines, which makes coffee for all tastes. Along with tea for those who prefer that. The beds are very comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. At breakfast, we met Donal, who was very attentive. We hadn't booked breakfast at the time of booking. But they were happy to accommodate us, for a very reasonable price of 10 euro each. The breakfast was buffet style. After we booked out, Donal very kindly allowed us to keep our car parked at the property while we went on a tour of Galway. I strongly recommend this B&B to anyone coming to visit Galway.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodation top notch.
