Amber Heights Guesthouse

Nice B&B, however they overcharged my credit card by 1,297. Euros and I didn't notice until 1 day after checkout. Now I am trying to get this corrected with my credit card company. The breakfast was good and had a great choice. Location was ok. Except the credit card issue it was a nice stay.

Staff were really friendly, rooms were nice and comfortable. Only downside was there were blobs of wet toilet roll over the walls in the bathroom. Other then that, fantastic and great value.

It was a good place to stay. Walls a little thin, could hear snoring from next room. Breakfast was available and reasonably priced. It was also good.

This place was a great value for the price we paid. The staff was extremely friendly. We ordered breakfast in the morning which was really good and filling. The only slight negative is that it is a little far from the city center is. We would definitely stay there again!

This guesthouse was nice enough, clean and comfortable, if a little bit noisy in the mornings.

Checked in, place looked great, room clean and spacious. Staff are very loud at night and proceed to have loud conversations right outside your door. Disruptive sleep. Id never return.

Andrew was wonderful and very helpful!!!! He found us a taxi that helped keep us safe and gave us helpful hints!

The hotel was very good, but the breakfast was the worst I tasted in ireland, some was over cooked like the bacon ant the egg , sausages were cold, when we tried to ex plane, all she was “i don't understand” very poor breakfast

We found Amber Heights quite easily and were smiling when we saw they had parking! Our reception was lovely and warm, and our room was just perfect, with pretty details in everything, including biscuits with our complimentary beverages. It was a comfortable walk from restaurants/pubs and the breakfast was also delicious! They were also very helpful in helping us decide where to eat out!

I enjoyed staying here very much. My only complaint was that breakfast was not included and was only available with a charge. I felt like the hotels.com did not explain that properly on alot of the places we had intended on staying. As it was only for one night. We did drive into Galway for some shopping which was nice but it was difficult to park. All things considered if you don't mind driving into the city this place was very nice, clean, and the staff get an A + from me. They were excellent!
