Horrible hotel. I am Active duty military and leave was restricted due to the current conflict. I went to cancel my hotel reservation and attempted contact 11 times. Only 3 were successful (email, WhatsApp/phone). Each time they asked for the policy (which was provided) and I was told they would refer it to management. I would follow up days later and be ghosted or told they have no record of my contact. I would send screen shots. They would ghost me again. I would call. I would be put on hold. The day I was supposed to check in I was contacted to ask what time I would be arriving… I sent screen shots of my contact (they were on the same WhatsApp thread). Then I was told no refund would be issued because it was the day of checkin… I showed weeks of contact, and attempted contact and then I was ghosted. If you are ever treated like this: please know you rights and file complaints with the following agencies. The hotel is really nice and cave bedrooms are confortable. The hotel team is truly friendly and supportive. We could book with their support an amazing tour in the surounding of Goreme with Hüseyin. Three are no words to thank Hüseyin. He could turn our disapointment with a cancelled baloon flight to a pefect day with detailed explanations about the geological formations, the history and culture of Capadocia. Hüseyin is the perfect touristic guide, knowlegeable and with a great sense of humour.

Le dépaysement total, la suite sultan était très confortable, beaucoup de place, peu de personne dans l’hôtel car hors saison

Très peu de personnes dans le personnel, parle anglais donc difficile de se faire comprendre ou prendre un traducteur à chaque fois Le sol se salit très vite des petites miettes s’y, dépose qui viennent du mur

-Betten bequem -Außenanlage schön -Frühstück war gut

-Sauberkeit Bad -Wasser muss man sehr lange laufen lassen damit es warm wird. Generell roch es noch Abwasser im Badezimmer -nach Anfrage für einen kleinen Geburtstagsgruß mit Kuchen zum Abendbrot für meine 66 jährige Mutter wurden uns 40€ berechnet ohne das es vorher kommuniziert wurde und es wurde als "Raummiete" deklariert, wobei wir sowieso dort essen waren zur Halbpension (4 Personen) -ausgemachtes Lunch Paket für unseren letzten Tag wurde einfach "vergessen"

Our stay at Holiday Cave Hotel was fantastic. What I really liked was the unique and cozy cave-style rooms, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to give tips or assist with anything we needed. The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of Göreme, close to all the main attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of local dishes, and overall the hotel offers excellent value for money

As for what I didn’t like, there were just a few minor things. Some rooms can feel a bit warm due to the cave structure, and the Wi-Fi can be spotty in certain areas. But these were small inconveniences compared to the overall wonderful experience
