Westwinds Waterfront Resort

Easy to get to beach. Backs onto the marina for a lovely change in aspect when you want. Close to supermarket and local bars. Lovely large well appointed apartment. Didn't use pool but it looked clean and inviting. Owner also very friendly and helpful, even got us to an excursion (pictured) that we were going to miss due to Lyft/Uber let downs.

Didn't have a balcony overlooking the beach with butler service 🤷😄

Good location with a short walk to the beach and a good view of the bay. The apartment was clean and had everything you would need.

Neither of the elevators work, which would have been nice to know since I was on the 3rd floor. You have to rinse the sand off before going into the apartment but there is only one outdoor shower by the pool in the back, which is not convenient when you are packing everything back from the beach and staying on the other side of the building.

Beautiful condo across the street from the beach bordered by a canal in the back. Very large unit with kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Within walking distance to some nice restaurants. I enjoyed relaxing on the canal side, watching the boats go by. Some guys were catching fish on the docks at the property. The pool looked great but I didn't use it.

The unit was bigger and better than expected. The location was across the street from the beach and walking distance to some nice restaurants. The kitchen was great. The backside of the property is on a canal. It's beautiful. Has 3 docks for fishing , a pool, and a large grill.

A cleaning crew came to my room one morning by mistake. My wife was startled as they opened the front door. Honest and understandable mistake.

The proximity to the beach and restaurants was great, as were the check in directions. The mattress and pillows left a lot to be desired. My son actually fell out of the bed on the second night because the mattress was so crooked. Some of the towels had brown stains on them. There was little to no places to hang towels in a two bedroom condo with 4 people staying there. I was overlapped disappointed at price I paid and the values I received.

Everything in this unit was new. Really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful! We stayed in an Airbnb located at Westwinds. It was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. We had a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo. Only thing(s) I would change about the condos is the assigned parking spots. Ours was on Gulf Blvd side and we had to park beside two huge vehicles this week that couldn’t park for anything and getting in and out was a challenge. And 2nd was I would have loved to have washer and dryers inside the condos. Very minimal inconveniences for sure.

My husband and I have been to Florida many times, but this time we were bringing our children, 11 and 9 for the first time and decided on Westwinds after going back and forth between a few places. We are SO glad we chose it! Our stay was perfection! Our unit was gorgeous, stocked with everything we needed in order to cook and eat most meals there. The grill area out back was super convenient and saved us lots of money from not having to eat out all the time. The pool and fishing docks on site were where we spent a lot of family time. The beach right across the street was amazing! And well, the sunsets… STUNNING!!! This location can’t be beat for when you want everything a beach vacation has to offer! We were a 5 minute ride to John’s pass where you can rent boats and jet skis. There is a Publix also about a 5 minute walk away. We cannot wait to come back and miss it already! Thank you Westwinds!

This property was pretty out-dated on the outside but our room was great. There was ongoing construction on some of the rooms on the first floor, so that looks promising. The pool was fine but nothing fancy. The laundry area felt like a creepy basement on the “bathroom” in the laundry area near the pool was a toilet behind a curtain. Our room was great. We had a two bedroom and the kitchen had everything we needed to make food and eat in our room which was a great savings. It was a short walk to the Publix. The public beach is right across the street and there is a cabana/umbrella rental there which is very convenient. My children’s favorite thing to do every morning was look out the back window of our room to see if there were dolphins in the water. We saw dolphins many times, as well as stingrays and lots of cool birds.

Property was great. Perfect location to the beach.
