Mooi gelegen, prettig ontworpen kamers

Jammer dat het raam niet goed openging.

The history of the place is impressive. The place is very peaceful and inspiring.

The size of the rooms. They seem to be too small and tight.

De locatie en de omgeving.

Kamer 7 was niet hygiënisch. In de hoeken aan het raamwas het vuil en zaten spinnenwebben. Het dekbedovertrek was niet ververst. Dat zag je duidelijk. Enkel een vers laken onder de overtrek. Op je blote voeten moest je niet lopen in de kamer want er lag nog zand en vuil. Het water liep niet weg na de douche. Lekker ontbijt maar stipt 11u is alles al opgeruimd en voor 11u nemen ze je bord al voor je neus weg. En dat op een zondagmorgen. Prijs / kwaliteit viel dit voor ons tegen.

Service problems. Staff forget my breakfast. Didn't get any help on transport ie they didn't know how i was to get to a place 5km away. No servicing off bedroom over a six night stay.

Was ok.

Beautiful old building and location, and they put some money into quality fittings although this seems to have been some time ago. Decent breakfast.

Unfortunately the room we were put in has a damp problem and shouldn’t be rented to guests in its current state. It stank of damp and this made it quite unpleasant to sleep in. A shame as it would otherwise have been a nice room, although in general they don’t seem to be keeping up with the maintenance of the building and grounds so it felt a bit tired and tatty in general. There was a notice telling us to keep a ventilation fan on during the day but this wasn’t working and wouldn’t have been enough to solve the issue anyway. The fact that the shower screen was so short that it was impossible to shower without flooding the floor was also adding to the problem.
