B&B Baron’s House Neerijse-Leuven

- Relaxing atmosphere and spacious bathroom - nice bright room with great daylight from outside shining into the room - breakfast was amazing. A lot of fresh food, like fresh crunchy soft bread - the owner/manager , Olaf was very helpful with quick response when we have questions. - They are 8 rooms in this property and I guess it was fully booked the day we checked in, I like the feeling that it was not too busy on the other hand it was not too quiet since we saw few people sit and relax in the living room in the evening and we saw other guests in the breakfast room in the next morning as well.

1) there are two things that we didn't but properly it is personal preference , which is the pillows & also mattress, because they were too soft. Woke up with a bit of back pain in the morning. 2) would love to have a two more hooks on the door or wall to hang some additional stuff. 😅

De ligging van de B&B is prima als je Brussel en omgeving wilt bezoeken of als je op doorreis bent. Wij hadden de grotere kamer voor 2 personen comfort kamer nr 8 geboekt. Bij binnenkomst hing er een bedompte put/ grond lucht die verminderde doordat we alles open hadden gezet. De ventilator die de lucht moest maskeren mocht alleen overdag aan maar s avonds uit. Het beddengoed had de lucht geabsorbeerd van de putlucht die in de kamer hing. We hebben de eigenaar op de hoogte gebracht en hij gaf aan dat spijtig te vinden en bij de schoonmaak van de kamer het beddengoed zou verwisselen. Bij terugkomst op de kamer konden we eerst weer luchten. Het beddengoed rook nog steeds niet fris. We hebben de ventilator aan gelaten die eigenlijk uit moest want anders was het niet te doen. Op de site ziet alles er netjes en gemoedelijk uit maar dat is voor kamer 8 is dat schijn. De muren naar de wc toe zijn donker van de vocht uitgelagen, spinnen en slakken in de kamer geeft geen prettig gevoel. Wij hebben wel vaker in B&B 's geslapen maar deze heeft nog echt heel wat te verbeteren.

Impeccable cleanliness, great indoor and outdoor common areas, nice cocooning room and bathroom, parking ok, everything indoor and outdoor is well-maintained, good communication with managers in NL/FR/EN. I really feel like home and a special thank you to Olaf for his very warm welcome and kindness all stay long. However, few things could be improved: breakfast could have a larger choice of products (ex: waffles as in Belgium, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, sausages, potatoes, …) and, concerning the room, you could provide tissues, shower cap, conditioner and hairdryer in each room. To sum up, I highly recommend this B&B. Hartelijk dank/Merci beaucoup

The hotel is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has wonderful linens. We stayed in an upstairs room with very narrow winding staircase with no handrails. Difficult to navigate as we are a senior couple. The room was small, but well appointed. However, the peaked ceiling did not allow for a complete wall between the bedroom and bathroom and afforded little privacy. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. If we had not stayed in the attic room I would have given this hotel 5 stars.

Wat een heerlijke plek, prachtige omgeving en in de buurt van Leuven. Komen er zeker weer!

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans la maison du baron. La chambre est confortable , l’environnement tress nature et agréable, le petit déjeuner au top ! Une belle balade à faire au départ de ce lieu paisible, avec un peu de boue en ce début avril.

Beautiful country setting. The room was well laid out and comfortable. Access to an extra drinks fridge with lots of choice of local beers. Friendly staff..local apple juice and freshly squeezed orange juice were a big hit.

Breakfast was plentiful but the cooked eggs were a little hit and miss. Scrambled looked dreadful with bits of supposed bacon. Just offering boiled eggs would have been better all around.
