We had a pretty good stay here although the key card to our room didn’t work multiple times and we kept having to go to the desk for a new one. Then the key card didn’t work to the pool either. Still our room was clean and the pool and hot tub were nice once we got in and the breakfast was pretty good.

The property is conveniently located right next to a freeway but our room was on the side of the hotel away from the road and was so quiet, We slept very well!

Location

For the price of our King Suite, we expected a comfortable bed, but instead, we were met with a lumpy mattress that has definitely seen better days. The sofa bed was a nightmare; the mattress was nothing but springs. This experience reminded me why we had avoided this location in the past. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we book at the Holiday Inn Express in Georgetown. The cost was far too high for such uncomfortable bedding and outdated furniture. I also want to emphasize that the sofa was equally uncomfortable to sit on. I would like to request a reimbursement for our stay, as this experience felt like a complete scam.
