The Staff and location were perfect plus having the pool was a bonus.

The shower in the room with the bath sprays water on the floor as it doesn't reach into the area(Bath) your standing in which presents a dangerous floor slip hazard. The breakfast quality was average with most items that should be hot were cold or luke warm.

Location was ok.

I don’t recommend staying at this hotel. The whole hotel was quite old. There was a damp smell in the room and mould in a few places in the room, including a lamp shade that was at chest height so you couldn’t ignore it. There was also bad mould in the shower right at eye level. The bathroom is spacious enough but for some reason the shower itself is tiny, so your face is right up against the mould as you shower. There was water damage and mould in the corridor outside too. The door of the room had absolutely no soundproofing so you could hear every footstep and conversation outside. There were stains on the chairs in our room, and the room key card was held together with sticky tape. The mattress sags in the middle so the bed is quite uncomfortable, and there was a stain on my pillowcase. It feels like one of those hotels where they wash the glasses with the same face towel they use to clean the toilet. When we went to eat breakfast, we saw the staff just brush the rubbish from the tables onto the floor and just leave it there, so there were food scraps all over the floor. When we arrived we were given a sheet which listed the hotel rules which were ridiculous, including no outside food and drinks, and no washing of laundry - apparently there is a charge for the ‘privilege’.

Great rooms, nice and clean. Leo and Linda from breakfast were lovely and the food was very good. The location is perfect, just a 3-minute walk away from the very busy old town. We got to use the curtesy bikes for a full day which was perfect.

Staff was so loud 6 am I can hear them chatting at the corridor shouting when I’ve told them to be quite they gave me really weed look like why are you asking that, when I asked them it was 7 am I’m on holiday I like to sleep in and relax not be waking up at 6-7 am

Breakfast is so so, the distance to own street is perfect, you can walk.
