The Carriages

The Front Porch is lovely. Sitting there and enjoying some relaxation and possible views of the Wallabies or rabbits was great. The room is very large. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet, great for someone who is a light sleeper. The Breakfast basket in the morning a nice touch.

The bathroom is a bit cramped with no shelves for one's toiletry bag(s) and we would have preferred towels that have been dried in a dryer, as they are soft then, but that is our personal preference.

Great location

This was a super place to stay for four nights in the Hunter Valley . The hosts were exceptionally helpful in all respects. We were initially given room 6, which was light and fine, but were upgraded to room 5, a much bigger and better room. You are left to your own devices with breakfast being delivered at 8am for you to have at your leasure. It's a beautiful setting with both Kangaroos and Wallabies around. We used the knowledgeable services of Alistair to take us on a wine tour. His presence greatly added to the trip.

There is a small swimming pool which we would have used but it was under maintenance during our stay. Just an unfortunate occurrence.

The location is fabulous and the verandahs are stunning and perfect for relaxing on. The welcome is great. The communication is amazing and the breakfast very generous and we felt very comfortable.

The wooden loo seat needs to go and the decor needs a bit of updating. We would add a sofa instead of outdoor seating in the non suite room to make it more comfy to watch the tv or read a book as eating on the verandah is a perfect alternative for the delish breakfast.

The breakfast was excellent

Beautiful peaceful location . An added bonus was the tennis court and swimming pool .
