Very lovely staff

Cheerful positive staff in a family run hotel that has plenty of charm

I just liked it and would select it over competition, their best element of the service is their peaple staff.

Location is great. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Clean enough and cheap for the area. The pub is excellent with great food and service. Surprisingly don't hear any noise from the pub itself from the rooms. The superior double is very roomy.

There is some street noise at night thanks to the jakies but not too bad.

ContinentalBreakfast was good but we were unaware that charge was made for cooked breakfast until we arrived The staff were lovely and would compliment highly the breakfast staff on duty on 5 April

Could have done with double glazing as you can hear all the noise outside plus the windows are very draughty and let in a lot of cold

The pub was very cosy, great atmosphere and cosy fire. The breakfast was lovely. Good selection of fresh fruit and pastries. The staff were really friendly.

It was very noisy but that was to be expected in the middle of the city. The bed was a double so quite small compared to what we’re used to, was uncomfortable, but we were only staying one night and the location was ideal for us.

It’s a friendly well receiving lovely pub
