Quiet farm location, comfortable beds, clean room, friendly and accommodating staff, great breakfast. Enjoyed watching the sheep and dogs.

Lighting was a bit dim in the room and bathroom for my liking, but my friend preferred the dim light.

Breakfast wast great with a wide choice of well prepared food. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with everything you could need. We all felt at home during our stay and had no complaints.

Close to battlefields

We love animals so having the lambs, goats, dogs, and even horses on the farm was a real treat. Country setting was lovely and the rooms were set up nicely and were comfortable. Breakfast sun room was bright and had great views of the farm. Hosts were pleasant, when available.

One of our rooms had no electricity overnight so room was very hot. Soap and Moisturizer bottles on sink should have been re-filled. Breakfast area was nice and a variety of foods offered but our eggs were made too early -would have better if cooked when we sat down even if that meant we waited since we all had them scrambled and had all the rooms so it wasn't otherwise busy. Would have been great if we could have seen the sheepdog demonstration. Maybe they could be more flexible on scheduling. Only food locally was just down the road and it was only fair; would suggest going into town, instead.
