Excellent character old world charm. We stayed on 3rd floor which meant the 120 year old lift, or the 150 year old creaky stairs. The hotel has been very well renovated and considering it's age it is in good condition, though of course will need ongoing maintenance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room comfortable

If it can possibly be installed, aircon would be helpful

Free EV charging and garaged parking. Location is right in Katoomba and shops are right in front so you can just walk out for dinner. Realised the train station was nearby as well.

Entrance was a little hidden since it's right beside the main road. Squeaking floor boards in the room, but it did made the stay more mysterious.
