The location is perfect , clean Staff friendly and helpful

I was worried because I only read the other reviews after I had booked. But yes - the staff at check in were unusually rude. Like you were wasting their time asking for a key to the room you had paid for…. This sounds minor but it was really annoying. The conditioner bottle was full with water (no conditioner). I only found out mid shower. I got dressed, found house keeping asked for some, waited in the room for them to bring it, they never came (this made me late for my Fringe show), there are no shops close to the hotel so I had to buy some and make the 1.5km trip back to the hotel have another shower, go back into town. The room stunk like dirty plumbing. You can’t open the window because people smoke downstairs and the carpark is full of junkies from the tent encampment in the park or dodgy 24 hour pub next door eg discarded syringe packets. I was uncomfortable walking back to my room at night and waited till it was light to leave in the morning which is another reason I wouldn’t book again. Although it seemed like possibly an Adelaide cbd-wide occurrence it made me uncomfortable as a single female traveller. In saying that, the pool was lovely (even though it was only open for small windows due to private events) and surprisingly they even let me read my book there for an hour after check out (no towel though) which I thought was nice and almost made me think twice about leaving this review

Pillows. Bathroom fan exceedingly noisy despite being branded ‘Silence 300”!

Smooth digital check in. Great friendly staff. Give me late checkout no problem.

Fan in bathroom sounded like an aeroplane made using bathroom very uncomfortable
