Please be informed that during bad weather and because the island is far from the mainland, the property cannot guarantee a stable internet connection. The complimentary shuttle service will be provided throughout the renovation period and operates on the following schedule: Mae Haad Pier to resort: 19:30 Resort to Mae Haad Pier: 09:00, 14:00, and 18:00 All shuttle services must be arranged prior to arrival.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Insane beach! Definitely the nicest one on Koh Tao, it has that private quiet vibe, amazing sand and amazing clear blue water! The beach resort is super nice, clean and holiday vibes. Food is super good and staff are very friendly! Especially Htay, who let us know about all the special offers :) thank you. Would highly recommend here if you want a quiet day away from all the noise. Me and my boyfriend love to come here to treat ourselves as we live on the island :)

"3 days of stay at one the most beautiful resorts"

3 days stay started badly because of Agoda messed up our rooms and send a completely different id booking and room to the hotel so be careful booking with them or if u book contact the hotel immediately to make sure they have received the right information. Dave the Manager was amazing and helpful contacted Agoda immediately to try and find a solution because they didn’t have anymore a room for us as we had booked so eventually we stayed in the lower end of what we had booked but got a compensation of 30% of the initial price which was quite horrendous from Agoda even though i had booked a month in advance but nevertheless the resort was gorgeous well maintained the beach is amazing and the pool was breathtaking

Haadtien Beach Resort in Koh Tao We arrived at this resort excited to celebrate our wedding anniversary in what we believed was our dream room: a Castaway Beach Villa that we had carefully researched, selected, and paid for in full months in advance through Agoda. Like most travelers today, we compared prices across multiple booking platforms before making our reservation. We found the best rate, completed the booking, received a confirmation clearly showing a Castaway Beach Villa for the correct dates, and paid in full. As far as any reasonable customer could tell, everything was in order. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the resort, we were informed that Agoda had somehow transmitted the reservation incorrectly and that the resort had received it as a different room category. We were told this was due to an Agoda error. To be clear, we understood that mistakes happen. We understood that Agoda appeared to be responsible for the booking discrepancy. We also understood that the resort itself may not have caused the original error. The problem was not the mistake. The problem was the manager’s response. After reviewing our confirmation, the manager openly acknowledged that we had done everything correctly. He agreed that our reservation clearly showed a Castaway Beach Villa. He agreed that we had no way of knowing there was a problem before arrival. And he confirmed that they were sold out of the Castaway Beach Villas during our stay. Yet instead of trying to help, showing empathy, or even exploring possible solutions, he immediately shifted the blame onto us. We were repeatedly lectured for using a third-party booking site rather than booking directly with the resort. This was particularly frustrating because the overwhelming majority of travelers use booking platforms such as Agoda, Booking.com, and Expedia. Rather than recognizing us as customers caught in the middle of a dispute between two companies, he treated us as though we had created the problem ourselves. At no point did we feel that he was advocating for us. At no point did he appear interested in finding a compromise, exploring alternatives, contacting Agoda, or making any effort to salvage what was supposed to be a special anniversary trip. Instead, we were made to feel foolish, unwelcome, and somehow responsible for a mistake that everyone in the room agreed we did not make. What should have been one of the happiest moments of our vacation turned into one of the most upsetting. Within less than twenty minutes, we went from being excited to stay at this beautiful resort to standing in the lobby in tears. The manager’s dismissive attitude reduced my wife to tears, which in turn left me emotional as well. We felt humiliated rather than helped. This made me dig in even more and brought out my ugly side. He had made my wife cry. I REFUSED to settle for a lesser room than we had booked. I demanded that he find a solution. I began to raise my voice. Finally, a solution would be found by a very sweet hotel clerk that had witnessed everything. She called the manager over and told him that she could rearrange things and bump someone up to a higher room category and free up a room for us. This is when, for the first time in this whole experience that we finally heard the words “I’m Sorry.” We felt comforted that he had finally found his “customer service” skill. But then he followed it with “You are going to have to pay us the difference in the discounted rate you paid Agoda and the hotels standard rack rate”, if we wanted this newly freed up room. We were flabbergasted. Here he had the chance to make every thing better but instead he deliberately CHOSE to continue being an jerk. He demanded that we paid the difference for all 3 nights and wanted our credit card to do so immediately. He could easily had checked us in and sent us to our room and then later followed up with Agoda or his manager or something. But nope. He ran our credit card for another $350 and didn’t even blink. He said if we didn’t like it, to take it up with Agoda. Hospitality is not tested when everything goes right. Hospitality is tested when something goes wrong. Mistakes happen in travel every day. Great managers recognize that and focus on solutions. Unfortunately, this manager seemed far more interested in assigning blame than providing customer service. The booking error may have originated with Agoda, but the way we were treated was entirely the resort’s responsibility. Long after we’ve forgotten the reservation issue itself, we will remember how unwelcome and insignificant the manager made us feel during what should have been a memorable wedding anniversary celebration.

The hotel needs to put on more shuttles. Even if they charge 100 baht for one the hour separate to free shuttles given how far out they are.
