Arrived 15 minutes before 4 o’clock and had to wait for receptionist to open up. We booked a studio apartment and judging by the photos on the website we were expecting something other than what we actually got. My first initial reaction was I CANNOT stay here! It was dark and tiny and depressing. We went to reception and asked to be moved. No joy. We asked for an upgrade, which would have cost us half as much again, only to find the bigger apartment was worse than the studio! We asked for our money back, again no joy. We rang the credit card company who could not help us at that stage. In tears, we tramped back to the dismal studio, clutching our bed linen and towels that cost extra, having been reminded that this is NOT a hotel. We have stayed in a LOT of apartments and never had to bring our own bedding. Even on a boat! We were given an inventory checklist where we had to tick off every knife, fork and bottle opener. This included a replacement cost of everything including the kitchen sink (which I managed to block up within hours). I have to praise my husband for keeping his s**t together and convincing me that it was worth the money and we could make the best of it. Here is a list of things we bought at the local Intermarche. Be aware that you have to do your own cleaning or incur yet another charge on departure. Fortunately we live in France Please, please, PLEASE read the information given and the reviews before you book. We learned a costly lesson by failure to do so.

Prendre note que la literie n’est pas inclus, aucun savon, serviettes etc. Vous devez faire la ménage lors de votre départ. Ordinaire Pour le reste, appartement pour 6 est juste suffisant pour 2 personnes

I should have guessed that the rate was too good to be true. When booking on booking.com it’s very easy to miss the fact that sheets, towels and cleaning aren’t included. We paid €16.70 to hire the linen and were also handed an inventory form at checkin indicating we had to do a stocktake of every item of cutlery, China, etc and were were responsible for them. I’m still confused if it was necessary or not, and how assiduously we were expected to clean it. Yes, it is a 10 minute walk from town but parking is free so we accepted that. It’s also very quiet. The lack of frills left a bad taste.

Our stay it was for cycling training camp. 11 persons. Location is 800m the towels and bed sheets. No cleaning everyday as hotels.  You have to ask and pay for the service. I stayed in the apartments for cycling camp with my team.  No store for the luggage (bike case for example).  You can keep all your items in the room with the bike.  But if you are sharing a room with your friend then is not possible and you have to upgrade the normal studio to suit it has (living room).  Thanks to Mary. She solve our problem, she give us  store for the bike with out extra amount ( because we booked 8 studio + 2 suit). The breakfast 9€ P.P. /d. Alot of tourist visa this town for the Thermes. Nice to have a bath 18€ p.p and 4.5€ for the towel. They are sealing also the short.

La piscine était à disposition des clients, mais côté hygiène, l'eau de la piscine sale et le fond je ne vous en parle pas. La vaisselle pas propre. Nous n'y retournerons plus.

Appartement très propre et bien agencé. Cadre superbe.
