The breakfast was excellent and the staff even fixed us breakfast early as we had an event that started earlier than their normal breakfast time.

The only problem we had, which was not anyone’s fault, was a serious water leak in all of the hot water radiators, causing flooding on all three floors. We found this upon returning at the end of our last day there. We had to find other accommodations as it was impossible to stay there our last night. I requested a refund for the last night but have not heard back from them.

Great place to spend a weekend at!

We were greeted as soon as we pulled in and parked. Extremely friendly staff, unique and old style charm. The breakfast was amazing both mornings.

Hospitality was exceptional. Quaint home however some updates can certainly make the stay a lot better. Window AC need to be updated along with the shower curtains. The mattress definitely felt more like laying on a hard bench which wasn't good for my back at all. Breakfast was awesome. This can be a 10 if minor updates were made.

It was a charming, old sty;e bed & breakfast, with loads of period charm to the house. Breakfast was great.

I paid over $500 for two nights and when we went into our room it was visibly dirty and had not been cleaned! There were large pieces of something white on the floor and the bathroom was still dirty with previous visitors’ hair visible in the tub and toilet,and the toilet was dirty. I asked the woman from the desk to come upstairs and see for herself and she apologized saying she had a new cleaner and she must have been overwhelmed!! But it’s the manager’s job to make sure the rooms are cleaned & I had to go to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies to scrub the bathroom down. Plus the bathroom outlet wouldn’t keep my hair dryer, curling iron or phone charger secured, they kept falling out of the socket! It’s pretty bad not to be able to use the only outlet in bathroom. When i mentioned it to the manager she said was aware if it, had already had an electrician check it out and it was safe-well that’s still a problem if it can’t be used. Plus the bed actually slopes in the middle and was quite uncomfortable. There was also big crumbles of possibly the ceiling on the fireplace mantle.

Inflexible with bkfst timers. 9 am is late for us, wanted an earlier start. Owner was able to put a to go coffee together for my husband in a soup cup at 8 am and a styrofoam container of packaged mini donuts.

The room offered a hot tub which I had to clean and pull out a hair plug so it would drain. The hot water was warm and a weak stream so I couldn’t fill the tub. We paid a higher price for the room There were clean sheets on the bed but no mattress pad.
