Brookview Manor Inn

Was not at all what we expected. The steps leading up to our room were treacherous and rickedy. The fireplace did not work. The toliet seat had a large crack. The room sloped. The TV was in an awkward spot. It was uncomfortable to view it from the bed. The bedside lamp did not work. Many repairs are needed. Wall paper was peeling. Instead of feeling comfortable and peaceful, we felt like it was a trashy place. We were expecting a nice, romantic weekend, but were sadly disappointed. We had two nights booked, but left after only one night.

nobody at front desk always a sign saying gone to do other things went down to see about a hair dryer twice nobody there no remote for tv in room went to desk nobody there i had to unplug tv to turn it off room was very small i meen small no room for night table on left side of bed TV in next room was on all night could not phone to front desk no phone in the room Steps going up back stairs very steep and high some people would make it up to the room the grounds are not in the best shape there was a piece of plastic on the main stairs outside going into the main lobby when we arrived it was still there when we left the third day The resturant was very good and the service very good the breakfast was not as advertised a cooked to order breakfast we were given a plate as same as everybody scrambed eggs breakfast was at 9;00 am .The morning we departed to come home we had an 8 hour drive home so we left at 7 oclock no breakfast We had to pay for breakfast on the way home

We had a great time at the Brookview Manor. Marty & Gail the owners are great people & a lot of fun. We had good conversations & a lot of laughs with them over the 2 days we were there. My wife & I felt like we have known them for years. Marty's stories were great. They were very accommodating with telling us places to go, etc. Marty's breakfasts were incredible. They were not only delicious but also very filling. The room #11 was just like we expected. The jacuzzi was perfect for both of us. We would definitely visit again.

Cute little B & B as expected! Food was great, staff was excellent! Room was cozy though mattress was a bit uncomfy. Would definitely go back.

Spent a winter weekend getaway here. Cozy, romantic place with lots of character. The adjoining bar/restaurant was delicious. The owner, Marty, is a fun guy who knows how to cook and made you feel right at home. 20 minutes from Camelback Ski resort (and even closer to Alpine), this place was perfect for our short escape from NYC. Next time though, we'll get a room with a fireplace! :)

Very nice, quaint and clean B&B in the Poconos, close to Skytop. They offer excellent food both at the breakfast normally included with the room (hence the name B&B) as well as a very good dinner menu. Not a lot of restaurants in the area and this made it easy to retire after a long day. Room #6 has a bathroom across the hall (not shared) but was not an issue for us.
