Hotel Signum

This hotel is just PERFECT. Perfection at all levels. Breathtaking views, delicious food, delicious wine, delicious coffee, beautiful garden, beautiful rooms, the library, the architecture of the property, lemon trees, multiple sights of relief. Absolutely ZEN vibe. Amazing, AMAZING Staff, that will make Your stay special. From lovely ladies at the reception desk, to the nicest staff in the bistro and restaurant, profesionalizm and kindness. Everyone tried soo hard to made our stay the best experience and I really appreciate it. Grazie mille Signum, we had wonderful time 🫶🧘🏻‍♀️✨

We loved our stay at Signum, a real eolian retreat for the body and soul. It has a really special atmosphere and a character of its own. Lovely to sit and look at Stromboli and Panarea while scenting the smell of the many herbs and flowers.

The location of Hotel Signum is truly exceptional. The property is a beautifully restored traditional farmhouse, meticulously cared for in every detail. It conveys the authentic atmosphere of a family-run residence from another era, allowing guests to experience the charm and character of the island’s past. Through its carefully preserved architecture, historical objects, and local flavors, the hotel tells a story that transports you back in time and offers a genuine connection to the traditions and heritage of Salina.

As for the reception staff, the guest experience could be enhanced by offering a more proactive welcome. It would be wonderful if guests were introduced to the property through a brief tour upon arrival, along with information about the charming pathways leading to the sea, which I discovered on my own during my stay. Suggestions for scenic walks, local points of interest, and recommended island tours would also help guests make the most of their time on Salina and fully appreciate everything the island has to offer.

We are now the forth time in this wonderful hotel on Salina. With Raphaele in the bar and Graziana and Virginia for breakfast it was a relaxtime at its best. The Gourmet dinner on our last evening was outstanding. The creativity and professionalism of the kitchen of Martina Caruso is admirable and stays true to its Sicilian roots. We really enjoyed these days.

Magical experience in the Signum, a place of character with all the refinement you would expect of a 4 star Hotel and more.

Exceptional hotel with lush gardens and stunning views, a beautiful pool and so much character! Staff is very nice, breakfast has some amazing cakes. Room was clean and simply perfect. A treat to stay here for a night, wish we could have stayed longer.

Prices at the bar, bistro and the gourmet restaurant are very very high.

The setting, gardens and cuisine are exceptional and Salina itself is magical. However, the service was inconsistent. A restaurant reservation arranged through the hotel by email had not been recorded, leading to an awkward situation on arrival. We were incorrectly advised that breakfast was not included in our rate when it was, and simple requests sometimes required multiple reminders. The staff were generally pleasant, but the front-of-house operation lacked the organisation and finesse one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. We enjoyed our stay overall, but the service experience fell short of the property’s otherwise excellent standards.

If you want something romantic with just a perfect environment with extremely lovely gardens and splendid views on the sea and the islands / volcanoes. This is the place to be. Great breakfast included, Lunch in the bistro excellent. 1* Michelin restaurant (probably fantastic food, but quite pricey). 5 min. walk down to the lovely pebble beach, but so relaxing pool with breathtaking views. Very friendly personel (they tried very hard to fullfill your whims and wishes) - if Graciana is still there - what a warm soul !

It is pricey and most of the rooms in this fantastic environment lack sunlight (as the traditional houses where meant to keep the inside cool, so not many windows) except the suite which was really great (and thanks again for making it possible for us to stay there).
