Hotel Villa Los Candiles

El hotel es hermoso, tiene un encanto particular. La habitación amplia y cómoda. El personal de recepción sumamente amable y atento, creo que quien nos atendió se llama Jeffrey. El desayuno muy rico y las instalaciones muy lindas, como en las fotos!!!

Nos hubiera gustado que la habitación tuviese una televisión más moderna, pantalla plana y con al menos una plataforma como Netflix, no tenía ninguna. No vimos televisión, solo había canales nacionales, y la pantalla no se veía bien.

An absolute gem. We loved this hotel. It was our first trip to Costa Rica and we wanted a few nights together over the jet lag. Villa Los Candiles was perfect. The rooms are large & beautifully clean with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Every room has either a balcony or a patio looking on to the gardens. All the staff are super friendly and work really hard. We enjoyed the breakfasts & had a drink in the bar but didn’t have a chance to try dinner in the restaurant. Location-wise,we were so glad we stayed in Santa Ana rather than San José. It’s a real locals’ town with adog park opposite the hotel. It’s a decent walk (- 20 mins) to the town centre particularly in the heat but we easily explored the town and had some food in the food court in the town centre.

Habitación limpia, cama muy cómoda y fácil de aparcar en su parking privado. El personal super simpático!!

La ducha es algo incomoda, podría mejorar

Camere molto spaziose e accoglienti, con terrazza vista giardino, letti comodissimi. Ottima colazione, staff gentilissimo e struttura molto pulita.

Die Villa lag in Santa Ana, etwas abseits und ruhig. Großes Appartement mit großem Balkon. Kleiner Garten mit sehr kleinem Pool. Sehr nettes Personal mit gutem Frühstück zum Auswählen.

Der unangenehme Geruch der Abwässer am Minipool.

Le sentiment d 'enfermement lugubre dans tout le quartier. C'est un quartier entier où tout est grillagé. Autour de chaque maison chaque jardin chaque parcelle chaque résidence....il y a une haute barrière/grillage. C'est franchement angoissant on a l'impression d'être des animaux en cage et pourtant le quartier est très très sûr. On s'est ballade dans le centre la nuit aucune tension aucun signe d'agressivité au contraire une population charmante . Le contraste entre la capitale et le reste du pays est flagrant. La capitale est hyper sécurisée au point que cet hôtel où nous avons séjourné 2 nuits en transit avait un peu de verdure autour des bâtiments dans un espace entièrement clôturé de grillage mais on n'a aucune envie de s'y attarder tellement on a ce sentiment d'être en cage. Bref je comprends que ce soit pour la sécurité mais le résultat est qu'on ne se sent pas bien du tout alors que franchement la population encore une fois est charmante.
